Chill out? I wish more lead singers were like this guy. So pumped, so full of energy. Off the wall insane. I love it. This is a guy who knows what he loves and loves what he does!
@voltage17121712 - you should check out other Polysics stuff, the lead singer is what makes this band. This isnt the best live representation of them, but they are an amazing band. Check out their other tunes, you might like them better.
Haha. How can anyone not like Muse? I love this band. You can hear its a backtrack though. They should've pulled a Muse and just went like when they played New Born on that other show.
There's Ishimaru!!! I kept mistakening him for the original drummer of POLYSICS. For thos of you who don't know, Ishimaru was the supporting drum player when the original drummer left the band during the release of National P. Then came YANO!
Anyone recognize there simularity to devo, i mean like there visors look almost indentical, they have the whole punk electronic thing going on as well. lol does anyone else think so?
the band is heavily influenced by devo yes.. but polysics has come clean very easily to admitting they are.. also they're huge fans of devo.. but devo is also a big fan of polysics.. so it all work out equally
Well according to Wikipedia Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo used a Polysics CD for his office phone system, forcing the people on hold to hear the tracks being played. Now that's just awesome, I wonder what CD it was?
I seen this when I was watching the show, but I didn't really think it was a strong performance of the song. Or maybe it was the crappy sound levels in the studio.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEIR ALBUM TO BE RELEASED HERE IN THE U.S. NEXT MONTH! Then they're gonna be at The Glasshouse in Pomona here in California! I gotta go!
Well, I didn't go either. It was this last Friday. They're swinging around to L.A. again on the My Space Music Tour in November so we'll have to catch 'em then I guess.
It makes me wonder what this songs all about. I used an online translator, and it translated the name of this song to "Young People Young People Even Number".......
I've heard that their music is part gibberish, part english, and part japanese. Hard to tell which is which at times. But that is the actual translation of it if you spell it Kaja Kaja Guu instead.
I can't stop laughing after I've listen the starting scream of this song! I LOVE POLYSICS!!!! I don't have words for them! I suggest for all this song: "I my me mine" look his video!!!!
This was the first jband I ever saw live and to this day its still, out of every gig ive ever been to ever, the best gig ive ever been to XD and it was only a 30min set :P
This band must rule the world. I first heard them when I bought one of the Japan For Sale mix CDs from Borders once. Holy crap, I love this band. They make no sense at all, and the sound they produce just makes you wanna get up and have an ADD fit all over the place. I was listening to this song in my cd player while shopping, and I wanted so bad to just tackle this pyramid of ramen they setup.
lol. well at least these guys dont sound the same as every other crap jpop band out there. im still a fan of the "boom boom sattelites" and "supercar" myself and a dabble in "ken ishii" too.
Not to be accusing, but did anyone else feel the instruments sounded suspiciously identical to the actual song (minus a verse and solo that was skipped over). Is Polysics just able to reproduce things that easily?
I can honestly say they dont sound the same live, I have seen em live 4 times now and its absolutely amazing, even better than the records. Seeing them live is a whole other experience. This sounds a bit canned, but it is TV after all, so it wouldnt be all that surprising.
I have seen this band live and when they played this song it sounded better than on this video. but still one of my favorite songs by them and a great band. put on a good live show.
i saw them live too last year and they are playing here in my neck of the woods on March 7th YAY!! hope you get to see them live again soon!! I am really looking forward to seeing Baby Bias Live.

If we got rid of the lead singer then (or chilled him the fuck down) they'd be fucking ace, otherwise STFU man, please? :D
