@EliteBeast Mmm, I'm not their biggest fan, but I certainly respect their uniqueness. The 'good' about them are the soundscapes that they paint... while technical, the technicality isn't the emphasis - this isn't wank metal. They use their prowess to imply really bizarre, abysmal ideas... for that reason, I think the music itself is more akin to doom metal in terms of themes.

None of them even finish the song at the same time. I've been drumming for around 7 years and I have quite a bit of experience in this style, if I should call it that. It doesn't really matter what I choose to say from here, because well you'll always be right. Mr. Metal mentality knows all that is music.

@FindingYourChad In other videos with less crap sound you can hear that they play it exactly like it sounds on the album, including this song, which is really hard to pull off. So it isn't just random notes, end of fucking story. It isn't about metalheads going "Everything I like is awesome" It's about the cold hard fact that this music is painstakingly written and rehearsed, with no improvisation and no fuck ups on stage.

@EliteBeast The thing is, there's nothing good about them. They get fans because of their aesthetics. They tremolo pick random notes and throw down blast beats. That's it. The recordings are the most poorly produced pieces of shit I've ever heard, and the vocalist sounds like a vacuum cleaner. I don't like Death or Black Metal, but I'm a fan of a lot of Metal, and any music that's good, and this is not. I really find it to be a joke, but somehow, it seems people really think they're good.

I dunno man... I got bored of Nile like 4 years ago, they're talented but they drag on and bore me (though they were EPIC live), and Decrepit Birth is alright. They're actually from my hometown. These are two very straight-forward tech-death bands, though. Do me a favor and listen to Seepia a couple times on here. You might reconsider.

I don't think it matches the studio version too well. If you have the time, look into it, or get someone else to do it. If those aren't options, I'll try my hand at it.
