show us a vid on how to strip it down im gettin the same gun and i want to paint it and it would b a disaster if i tried this without any sort of help
i have the mp002 the old version of the l96, is there any possible way i could put the round bolt handle on instead of the flat one for my bolt mechinzime?
easier way to do it just go buy gun tape at wal mart for like 5 dollars way easier than actually painting it and the tape comes off so you can change it when needed
ok it sucks now it looked fine with the desert camo you should have done tiger stripes with a ripped paper stencil or just brown and olive green oak leaves

for a start why did you get a desert gun?? I have an L96 and its a gorgeous injection moulded OD. It suits me fine. Honestly tho you shouldnt ever spray it!! Specially on a camo job!! All you need to do is either burlap it or make a ghillie wrap for the rifle. It breaks up the shape, removes the shine and eliminates the shilouette. If you needed a cheap and easy way of camouflaging it then look at the way jude laws sniper is camouflaged in enemy at the gate. Thats how i camo mine and it was free
You're right, but I've done several coats of clear on top from something like 50cms away giving a duller finish and the paint will last longer - It's not so shiny now. The camera doesn't do the final finish any justice.
ive done some experimental gun painting with broken guns and i found this masking tape for dry wall and it has alot of squares in it and i basically made my own digital acu out of it im going to do it when ever i get around to buying a vsr-10
its a alright paint job i see little sploches of bunched up paint in certain areas but no big deal not to noticiable i hope.

those are good colors but the best is olive green, brown and black, if your gun isn't black already.

I think that the bestcamo for any gun is digital but the oly prroblem is it is a bunch of small squares so it would be hard to paint

for covering the hop up I am just going to leave my clip in the gun and tape off just a little bit on the edges so it doesnt get in at all

I liked the desert look as well, but I Skirmish a lot in the woods so this is more suited for my environment.
