Bought the modified NT1a from Oktavamod.
Sounded horrible, nothing like this one.
Joley Didn't, hear or didn't wanna hear what I herd and I sent it back to him
and got my money back after three or four months.
Not to talk about the time it took for him to reply my Emails.
Crappy experience.

I have a Trion 8000 and Apex 460 modded by Michael J at Octavamod. The Trion is modded after a Blue and the 460 after a C12.... both mics kill. He is the best and I couldn't be more happier with my decision to do the upgrades. Hearing is believing.

For me, as a producer I could definitely use the Oktava Mod mic on productions easily and get wonderful results. Good informative video!!

Dang! I actually liked the OktavaMod the best on all the sources except piano.

I agree the U87 is obviously the winner but the OktavaMod sounds really good! It is pretty close in the ballpark of the u87 which is amazing considering the price. I will deff be getting a pair of those capsules.
p.s. Man that 414 sounds Dark
