BB is the King and I have personally known him since the Filmore days in San Francisco. I met him and the band then and several more times over the years. I love to watch and listen to him as much as possible. He has given great advise and I have met his daughter and toehr family members once in Berkley Ca. She played the piano after his show back stage in the basement. We sat on the couch and listen to her play and sing. BB gave me several lapel pins of his guitar and I keep each.

Lucille has such an immaculately beautiful tone, and B.B. bends it soooo so beautifully.  She sounds so polished, with just the slightest rough, distorted edge.

If you could take a musical note and give it a deep, candy-blue hot rod paint job, and then scuff up the edges with sandpaper, it'd sound like it came out of this guitar.

He's not a virtuoso, that I know. But he is a real musician and one who has changed the history and sound of blues and all derivatives
