@papaburger Haha... German Soldiers testet an AK47 and a MP7. MP7 penetrated standart Body Armour, AK didnt. And if your etalking about Stopping Power: SP is basically a mith. And if notm, the MP7 would still be good thanks to its Rounds that either fragment in the Target or tumble in th target. AK doesnt tumble= less wounds

@andromedarr I bet a MP7 would round would do poorly against any barriers like concrete or wood. An AK-47 will defeat body armor, it just depends on the level. The 7.62x39 rounds tumble, like the M67 load.

@esh325 Have fun with your AK in a close combat fight or try shooting it out of a tank. The mp-7 is just for the tank crews and supply drivers. Normal soldiers still fight with the g36 wich kicks the living hell out the outdated ak.

theyre using the 20round clip. but theres also the 40 rounds clip. if u shoot these bullets at police or swat for example at 75 metters, it will penetrate theyre body armor for sure.

Die MP7 ist als Verteidigungswaffe gedacht für die Soldaten die sicht nicht so im Kampf beteiligen wie Köche und Sanitäter, daher haben die kein G36 und brauchen deswegen eine Waffe die klein und handlich ist und doch über starke feuerkraft verfügt, deswegen hat die MP7 ein Munition die auch feindliche Schutswesten durchdringt haben die keine so geht die Kugel glat durch und hat so keine Stop wirkung.

Ausserdem kriegen die Waffe auch Offiziere, Gruppenfuehrer und Spezialeinheiten fuer den Haeuserkampf.

Bei den geplanten Entfernungen von <200m reicht die Mannstoppwirkung uebrigens vollkommen aus, da das Projektil sich im Wundkanal ueberschlaegt und dadurch eine groessere Wunde verursacht.

Davon abgesehen ist die MP7 auf jeden Fall schlagkraeftiger als die Waffen die UZI, die sie ersetzt, welche in der BW-Ausfuehrung ja nur 9x19mm feuerte.

über die mannstopp wirkung der mp7 selbst weiss ich nichts aber da der kaliber nur 4.6mm beträgt kann man wohl davon ausgehen dass sie mit vollmantelmunition doch eher gering ist

Yeah, but that's the price you pay for armor piercing capability in such a small size bullet/gun.

And as the other guy said, this thing shreds flesh like the 5.56, and WILL kill you. Not to mention its 950RPM Rof and VERY low recoil is probably enough to be considered stopping power.

Getting hit by about 5-10 bumblebee-sized objects right in the chest right after the other will stop all but a charging bull.

Nobody knows for sure how it will do though, they haven't seen much fighting yet :/
