@StarWars1FanShow I notice the samething, I'm not sure why it does that. I can't zoom at things that far unlesss I'm far from it. I'm not sure if it depends on how far I am from something but I'll do a quick test whenever I can and let you know.

Is this a good beginner video journalist camera? and it records on mini DV's right? and what cables does it take? (firewire,USB,etc.) oh and cool video (: and could you upload it to a mac?

@sf987photo Yes it could do everything you ask. Is a great camera, I don't use it much because of school but when I can I always take advantage. It shoots well on HD and the LCD view looks amazing. I would recommend this camera to everyone. I use FInal Cut Pro so I use the firewall cable. You could also use a HDMI cable to export footage.

how exactly do u set it to 24p? ive had this cam for a while and the only thing i know of is making the fps 25

@wasabeeguy FPS 25? You problably have the european version of it I think lol Mines have 24p and 30p. I don't have 25p. I think only europe versions have 25p since is not NTSC is PAL.

@VargasStudios It depends, if you using final cut pro you use a fire wire cable to import footage from your camera to your computer, I don't use windows at all so I don't know.

I used Final Cut Pro. Just go to easy setup and make sure you capture it on HD and include the frames you captured it on. I imported the frames wrong on this one I think. I did this video like 3 months back when I first started using my camera.

I used a Mac. I have final cut pro. Its difficult to edit on HD because you have to worry about how long the video and if is under 1 GB.

@BiggerDreamsProducti Well you have to change the settings. I have a video that is about 8 minutes and it came out less than 2 Gbs. Youtube now allows you to upload videos below 2GB because of HD.
