Well, if he wanted to do a GT conversion, sure. The cool things with the V6 3.8s is that a 97 Ford F150 4.2 can do a direct bolt on to our cars minus a few other parts. They're about 205rwhp. But, either way, more power to you.
Take the chip out and get a programmer like SCT Xcalibrator 2. You will net alot more power with those. Don't worry about the cold air intake. There are billions of different versions of them but they all do practicly the same thing netting generally the same horsepower. You'd get alot more power if you port your intakes and get a cam. Plus, with the tuner, you can tune it again, and get even more power. If you had a chip, you'd have to purchase another one over and over again. Good luck bro.
we have no clue. What ever it is its not doing what it should be. Were gonna put side pipes and a better cold air intake, and then re-chip it. It just got a set of cobra bullit 10.5 rims. Thats eleven inchs of tire on the ground.
dont waste ur money with a CAI. taking off the airbox and putting in a K&N filter is literally just as good as any intake. and dont re-chip it. buy a programmer, you can adjust the tunes whenever you want have have different tunes, like eco, and 93 octane tune.and dont port and polish ur intakes yet. first you need to get a traction lock and a set of new gears. otherwise youll be spinning one wheel all day.
Hes getting a tuner soon. He got 3.73s now because he grenaded the stock ones. Not posi though. Oh well. If he did he would pop his transmisson. It shouldn't spin if he flutters it. Thanks for the input.
