@scribblegossip no, this is a common misconception, it is actually the membrane the seeds are attached to that is hottest. the seeds on their own are not hot at all...
@scribblegossip well you're both wrong then... it is the membrane that is hottest. Of course the seeds are still HOT because they touch the membrane and are smothered in the capsaicinoid oils which come from the membrane. I'm not going to argue this any more, I'm positively right. Just google it man, good grief! By the way, I did leave the membrane intact on the peppers we ate in this video, only the seeds were carefully picked out...
I ate a regular chilli the other day (was just called a green finger chilli) and that was hot as fuck. How people can tolerate these is beyond me, unless the heat scale is exaggerated and the numbers dont truly represent the amount of heat.
@maneatingtoilets No, they absolutely do. These peppers are INSANELY hot, completely unlike the heat from a normal chile. One pepper is really meant to be divided into about 6 or 7 parts, each for a whole pot of chili. Even with 1/7 of a pepper it makes the entire pot almost unbearable.
@AwkwardSilenceHD god what is with the uneducated people on youtube...pure capsaicin will not burn jack shit, its not acidic. Educate yourself you fool, the way capsaicin works is by tricking the brain itno THINKING its hot, as it is a neurotoxin. It doesn't actually burn anything at all. Idiot.
@AwkwardSilenceHD Leave it to the retard to respond with incomprehensible nonsense...It wasn't a story you moron, it was a FACT. Learn the difference...
From other pure cap videos I've seen, I thought the worst of it would be at the beginning. Not 10 minutes later, sounds like the right time for the Bhut to kick in well though.
if you put pure capsaicin on those peppers you either put barely nothin on there or else your body would of went into shock from if. And how the fuk would u even get it
@lilpd24 I guess you'll just have to take my word for it... I had to do it behind my buddy's back so I had to keep it hidden, and I guess I just didn't think of showing it in the follow-up video. If you're wondering where I got the Capsaicin, I brought it home from work with me. I make cheese at a Dairy in Wisconsin and we use small amounts of Capsaicin in our Hot Pepper String cheese.
@NightTurkey82 Yes, with everything Iv'e said, I have to add that there is no way this video is real. First off the guy with the speech impediment didn't even have a reaction, and it doesn't matter how high your tolerance, these peppers hurt! Neither of them had any hiccups, chills, or even so much as a tear. I can't believe I'm giving these morons another view...
the seeds are the bits that are hot!
