Button lag is cured by minimising dosbox with alt+return, then alt-return again to full screen.

Your puzzlement at 3:00 would be easily resolved by this ancient text........."Dagger in (push plate), Dagger Out (recieve your better dagger).

Typically, you should hold on to a 'weathered dagger' for this cos Victor the Bastard only buys them for 5 cr, and the dagger 'Assassin' (or is it 'Back Biter'?) is 10-20 i think.

If I recall from the official strategy guide, different enemies are actually vulnerable to different damage types. Using crushing weapons against those bugs would probably have helped you out quite a bit.

Let me take this chance, by the way, to tell you how much I enjoy your "Let's Play" videos. Spelunky and Lands of Lore are two of my favorite games and I'm delighted to watch somebody else play through while I work. :)

Also, remember when LOL meant Lands of Lore before Laugh Out Loud? :)
