My 1st flight was in a PA-28, we flew at 3,000feet.

It seemed pretty high untill I took my 1st commercial flight, and we surpassed that altitude in 1 minute and continued at 12x the altitude!!!! Why do we take flying for granted?

I've been on planes since I was a kid. My dad owns one, but it was SOOO funny....about 8 years ago, in 1999 I made a flight from Dallas to Tokyo with a group of kids about my age, we were going to visit Japanese families with an exchange group, and it was this guys first time on an airplane. We were on a Boeing 777, which is one of the largest airliners out there, and he about pissed his pants on take off, and I turned to him and said, "It's gonna be a rough 14 hours to japan eh?" LOL

haa .. don't worry. I took my first plane ride last spring, but it was on a big American Airlines jet, and I was acting just like you. You just have to be calm. The whole time while waiting to take off I was nervous and shaking. After we got up into the air I really liked it. It's just funny because you remind me of what I did.
