I think this music is great, I like Skinny Puppy, the tone of the song suits the sci fi element in the cosplay creation (Halo being a science fiction fps). I remarked that the kre8ing person had good taste in music because of this. Also Skinny Puppy (with the apparently required "in my opinion") are awesome.

Actually, this is the reason why one of the key decisions that are made when making a movie today is whether to go with CGI or "Principle." CGI may be cheaper and more flexible but, the quality and "realism" of these kinds of creations just can't be beat. The down, however is that it is extremely time consuming, expensive and, in certain shots- limiting.

@Boasill Probably because CGI is faster and with CGI you can do ANYTHING whereas with traditional special effects some things are easy while others are simply impossible, for directors and especially producers CGI is just reassuring, they don't have to worry about difficulties that way.

That said, I'm totally on board with the spirit of good old costumes, props and miniature models etc. Despite how well Lord of the Rings did CGI, the orcs will always feel more authentic than Gollum.

Plus, they are more convincing in Reach (by convincing I mean realistic, if they were real). Halo Wars did have them fat, but I do get you, it does look pretty fat in the costume. But still amazing...
