  • I was acquainted with Alan from back in Duluth circa 1991. I worked at a record store, the Electric Fetus, and he lived in my building. Such a nice guy, totally unpretentious, and mellow. He played in a local band (Zen Identity) in which he always reminded me of The Edge - all echos, reverb, and angles. Good to see that great things sometimes come to those who truly deserve them.
