  • i wonder how much one of those cost

  • @sixtyllama131O

When i bought my tournament bow with sight, stabilizers and rest in 2001 i spent close to $1700. Probably another 300 on smaller accessories like arrows, release and other things.

  • bei dem video, gibt es einen, der nicht sauber löst,daher schlagen die pfeile mit dem heck aus,wie der sich nur qualifiziert hat...

  • I used to be.. ah forget it ^^

  • this man! this is the man who shot me in the knee!

  • Cheater's idea like Holding string with mechanical trigger (so called release aid ) is so funny .

Will the next cheat be built-in release aid in cyborg hand ? hahaha .

If you people keep cheating we will have lesser and lesser archery player ,

because people doesnt like cheaters .

If i need a trigger , simple , i will use crossbow or guns .

  • @sonichedgie then why use sights, stabilzer, rest, or target arrows in that case?

  • @sonichedgie Neither archer has a release aid with a trigger you ignorant pile.

  • whats the point of holding tournaments if everyone is so good? i mean, they are all obviously going to hit the center point, the tournament could go on forever, you've got the best of the best there. How can they decide a winner?

  • Wonderful sport, I love archery.

  • I would just use crossbow , if i have to cheat that much ....

  • @sonichedgie you are a moron ....

  • these guys are good but the thing is i have been shooting gophers at 20 yards for a while and hit pretty much everytime

  • the guy on the right is yanking the trigger

  • @TheJohndeere1998

You cant yank the trigger with a back tension release. If you have bad form with a back tension or hinge type release you tend to punch yourself in the mouth.

  • Incredible accuracy.

Im not a bow shooter, but the accuracy of these guys is realy badass.

  • Notice the fat arrows-the guy on the left would have dropped no 2 if he had carbons.

i bet they are money shooters back home.

    still damn good shooting..

  • @iceblue1963 The outside diameters are the same size....

  • @iceblue1963 Ummm these guys are money shootes all around the world..... I've shot with Jesse Broadwater since he was 11... he was amazing back then and f-ing incredible now. Do you have any idea how much work it takes to do this at that level? He is a MULTIPLE National and International championship winner... I've only lead the Nationals for a day... He's won multiples. He was the first person in NFAA history to shoot an Outdoor perfect score ... at age 13. He's the best...

  • @iceblue1963

when you're shooting paper targets like this fat arrows are the way to go! All the arrow has to do is touch the line. So the fatter the arrow, the less chance of a miss. I used to shoot Easton Eclipse arrows in size 2613. They were about 5/8ths of an inch in diameter.

  • whats the standard competition yardage?

  • @esuess88 These guys shoot at 18 meters which is the standard indoor distance. That's about 20 yards

  • Legolas would own all their asses

  • I shot traditional because it's more fun, but you have to admit it's frightening how accurate those compound guys can be

  • Compound Machine; it's far removed from a traditional bow.

  • @MrSchpankme nobody said it wasn't

  • @DarkGallahad how can I give you hate comments... if you had anything intelligent to say about archery I could hate on you ..

  • @DarkGallahad It doesnt mean its not a challenge..and you dont have to use a release or sights..you can shoot a compound instinctively with fingers

  • @DarkGallahad if you are so into traditional methods you would be writing letters to a newspaper via pen and paper instead of using such modern communication methods such as Youtube to voice your concerns. I'll bet you don't watch an old black and white TV... what do you have a HD flatscreen LCD TV ?? .. compound archery is like anything in this world today...an advancement on the original item. If you don 't like one don't shoot one.

  • @stickman1957 : archery is game , internet is not game .

    Who likes easy game ?

  • did you notice it's a european tournament and these guys are american

  • Maybe one day i will be there!!! :-P Check out my channel!

  • I was bored so i decided to look up some competition vids as ive been picked up as a Hoyt shop shooter, and jesus christ alot of bitching comming from the comment section.

allow me to dispell some rumors as an employee at an archery shop and competition shooter:

It is not hard to get good at archery, plain and simple its not. It is VERY hard to get as good as these guys.

Bows with scopes are put in a different category as FITA bows and are expected to do better with the releases and sights

  • compound and horsebow and recurve are awsome longbow is stupid clumby and gay

  • Are sightless barebows allowed in these tournaments? Just wondering.

  • @sompret

    Don't think so

But you can always not use the sights on a sighted bow...

  • @soccom8341576

Well, that just blows. I might as well fly to traditional archery festivals, in that case.

  • Exige, Longbows were used more by native peoples who stalked game and or shot from horses, and true longbows were used as a military weapon in archer lineups with ground quivers, etc. Both were used to hunt but they come from different areas of the world.

  • whats the difference between and longbow and a shortbow? i know that one is longer than the other.

  • @Exige098 its in the name mate the longbow is longer range than the shorter one

  • should be a longbow tournament out in a feild

  • why cant this french basterd just stfu

  • @thepain006 i listend to music while i watched it to drown him out lol

  • @thepain006 I'd rather say they should not allow those comments in this grunting english; sound like a hog trying to speak like a human.

  • @thepain006 we invented archery your fucking nation was not born again

  • @thepain006 because his french

  • @NifoOtiBoy

It could be your nock point height i had a friend with the same problem and he narrowed it down to that

  • Give these guys Longbows, see how they go...

  • @TheGameTree Hey if you can answer this question you will have me eternal gratitude.

My arrow vanes keep hitting the rest on my bow making their flight look like #$%&... WHY???

45lb recurve bow @28", 32" draw length, 33" arrows, 100 grain tips, finger release, arrows spined about .362 and 10 grains per inch with vanes.

I'm guessing my arrows are too stiff or not stiff enough but which one is it?

  • @NifoOtiBoy FFFFFFFF-, could be many reasons, bad arows for one, the fletches could be glued on the wrong way making them hit your rest. Are you making sure the arrows are knocked the right way so the fletches arent coming into direct contact with the bow when you release? If one of the fletches is pointing directly at the bow then its going to veer off.

  • @TheGameTree

Its a lot worse than just fletching hitting the riser.... the whole back 1/5th of the arrow is scraping against the riser pretty hard.

  • @NifoOtiBoy The only other thing I can thing of is perhaps your not releasing properly, causing the arrow to move to one side, when its releasing.

  • @NifoOtiBoy Did you get your arrows properly spined to fit your bow? Or did you just buy them, figuring arrows are arrows?

  • @TheGameTree

No I didn't "just buy them" I tried to follow the manufacturer's arrow selection charts as well as I could.... but something went wrong apparently.

  • your right on braden. but jesse's using a contender elite w/ 3000 limbs.

  • From the looks of it Jesse (left lane) is using a HOYT Vantage (cant tell if its a pro or elite), and Braden (right lane) is using a Mathew Conquest 4 i believe. Dont take my word for it cuz i just started looking into archery. Looking at PSE Deer Hunter as my first bow. Any suggestions?

  • @EmberClad hey you said you are looking into a new bow? How much draw weight are you thinking about getting? I am a archery tech at a local sporting goods store, let me know and I would be able to give you some good bows to look into

  • @EmberClad Do not get it. I had it for 2 years and the cable snapped and whipped me in my face. Treated that thing better than my girlfriend and it still broke on me. Something wrong with the cable rubbing the cam and there is no way to truly fix it. I bought a bear truth 2 and that thing is great!

  • What bows do they use?

  • O.O

  • Its going to be interesting to see what Braden shoots for the World Championships.

Anyway, hope he has the best of luck and I might see him in Vegas next week.

  • Awesome shooting from both archers.

Wanna see how my Vantage works at the german championships in march

  • wooot go Braden
