Unfortunatally the conversation with the patient could have gone a lot better if the Dr. would have just asked why, and how he can do better. Instead he never addressed the patients concerns but rolled over them.

As for a dentist for 25 years, I'm sorry to say this is true. Patients find all kind of other misplaced priorities and excuses, wanting to blame everyone else except themselves. Lack of taking responsibility I'm afraid....
