I'm not really a purist in that I don't really like pokemon as a game anymore, due to my hating all turn based systems equally these days. It's just that the pokemon designs become more and more bloblike and less and less animalish.

There were some stupid ones in gen 1 too, but a lot less of them, and there are a handful of good one as you go along but more and more became ultra retarded. CASE IN POINT LUVDISC

@ZetaPlays I understand how you feel, I just go by the theory that every generation has its hits and misses, and Gen I isn't much better than the rest when it comes to designs. I love them to death because they're my childhood, yes, but I'm not going to disown the newer ones. I just focus on the ones I like.

...Yeah, I don't know why either, considering the supposed ninja-poison master could've just used Koffing with Selfdestruct instead...but whatever, lol.
