@OmegaTKB he has to always be holding a button down, it doesnt matter which one though.

so what Zero players have to do is rapidly switch from holing one button down to another holding the next one down when the attack is done; example, hold down M, hit L, let go of M, hold down L instead, M H S or whatever you want.

usually holding down L is the best way to go because M is fast enough to start most combos.

@IAmTheWar You need to pop them up with c.H before f+H. Not every character will cross over Zero, but every character can be hit by the s.L after, just takes some timing.

sup OZ reporting, just wanted to say a few things, zero got horrible nerf, but he still cool, anyway, his relaunch magic combo is still usable in this game, but the timing for the hits is completely diferent so i got some problems trying to do my tvc combos with zero in marvel the mayority are posbile, the only ones that are no longer posible are the ones that involved the uppercut an the launcher, stupid capcom why you do that XD, maybe in a few week i re-start posting combos for the mvc3 zero

Omg. Nice video dude. but im having trouble doing that electric move on the ground and air. where he slides across the screen. and howd you manage to keep his laser charged and attack at the same time. ive down it before but as soon as i get hit it just cancels out pretty much. -__-

@toushiro555 You can switch what button you're holding to charge during combo as long as you are always holding an attack button. So to switch do an attack and hold that button, then release the button you were holding.

Hmm after that lvl three charge do you still have to do that hienkyaku... 214 AT?

And in MvC 3 is there no baraouqe like in TvC?

I only got a wii but I still wana play competively with my friends who are getting them :D...

@Kirbybboy As far as I can tell yes you have to do the 214AT after level 3 shot in the corner. The falling B reset from TvC doesn't really work anymore. There's no Baroque but XF works similarly, just you can only use it once per match and it changes your timings slightly.

@Kirbybboy Some stuff from TvC carries over, but there's a lot more hitstun scaling in this game so in re-launch combos the ground combo part gets shorter with each relaunch during the combo. Also Zero can't do 6-hit magic series anymore, 3 hits into 6C only now, but if you pop them up with 2C you can repeat 5A 5B 5C 6C a couple times.

I wouldn't say it's a waste of time, but it will take a few hours at least to adjust to the changes.

How do you finish off that air combo you did with Wesker to make the opponent slam into the ground?

@omgisthatbreezy Wesker combo is pretty simple really: 5A 2B 5C S j.B B S Call Assist 3C 236AB (numpad directional notation).

To answer your question though, the exchange button (S) for any character will slam the opponent to the ground during an air combo.
