  • Oh hey, drama in the comments. Gotta read this.

  • @kefkaexdeath I got popcorn!

  • @ExilLarkdanx

Are you stupid? The GBA had lower sound quality than the SNES! On top of that, the SNES and GBA versions of Fierce Battle sound identical!

You just admitted that you go by nostalgia and don't actually have a solid opinion on your own. For shame.

  • ultima weapon is its real name they miss translating it god dammit

  • @MSAnemanja2 no theyre not mistranslating it, THAT THING its not Ultima Weapon, just look at the color and background

  • @taiyoh04 huh ? weird i guess atma weapon is enough

  • is this guy realy zo strng i mean it only has an attack of 111 most of my characters reach 200 and above?

  • @pinovids he's pissin strong in the kefka's domain

  • where do you found this 1 guy i only found the blue and red 1 wheres the yellow 1?

  • This song makes me crazy

  • I never found out where Omega Weapon was when I first played FF6.

  • @GamingIdiot42Neo it´s only in the GBA version

  • Unlike most themes, this takes forever to get old.

  • First time I ever beat Atma weapon I think I struck the killing blow with the equip-able Atma Weapon

  • "Well, my visual limitations would prevent me from playing on 3DS..." No, they wouldn't. You can turn it off.

  • ATMAWEAPONATMAWEAPONATMAWEAPONATMAWEAPONATMAWEAPON

  • For a better criticizing:

Remember that animations and music BGM don't make a game, but story and gameplay. If you don't like it, then play the SNES version.

  • The GBA version used its own sound library instead of emulation, as a result, it sounded worse because of it. Instead, they emulated the game play which is why there was so much lag in actions. I really didn't care for the HP limit of monsters, 65535 was the max any monster could have since that is the max value for 16-bit addressing. GBA is 32-bit so Square could have fixed the limitation but was too lazy.

  • @konkakonkadudu

Yep. I like the GBA version because the game itself and its extras. If there were a FFVI for NDS or 3DS, sound and animation would be way greater. What do you think?

  • @magnusLordN

Well, my visual limitations would prevent me from playing on 3DS, and the past FF DS titles used the 3D SD style which I didn't care for. I think SD should stay as 2D design. If they are going to make it 3D then at least make the characters anatomically correct like in FF8. But, someone made an illustration of what the original FF6 would look like in HD and it was awesome. Google FF6 HD to find it.

    That I would play.

  • @konkakonkadudu

Well... anatomically correct would not be a great option (because if they focus only on that, they would forget the story, like FFX.), so, better a game for NDS with the new espers, voice acting and (maybe) a different ending.

  • @magnusLordN

Ah, to each his own then.

  • @konkakonkadudu

    Well... good!

  • @ExilLarkdanx i reckon the gba version of this music kinda sucks, the snes ones so much better :)

  • I fought this thing in FF4 THE AFTER YEARS and hes A LOT more Difficult than he is in 6. he made shinryu and omega look like pawns!

  • Feeble creatures, GO!

  • that thing will always be known as Atma Weapon to me

  • Me too.

  • @moonbal If Omega Weapon had been in the SNES version, he would have been called Omni Weapon.

  • @moonbal That particular one in the picture I think is the one from the Extra Dungeon (ala, not in the original) and thus, probably wouldn't of been called "Atma" anyways, but I do agree, they should have left "Ultima" weapon as "Atma".

  • @moonbal to me too to me too the most epic mis translation ever thank you ted wolsey

  • @moonbal you fight that one in kefkas tower you fight atma in the floating continet

  • Best Theme in FF6 so far.

  • They should have given him is original spirte from FFV, not this pallete edit of Ultima (or Atma in this case).

  • I never actually fought him.

    Vanish Doom works fairly well.

I think it was fixed in the GBA version.

  • 65,000HP? is that all? c,mon Omega i know your stronger than that.

  • 195000 Hit Points.

  • But it says 65,000HP there. Wait, his HP wont vary depending on how strong your party is will it?

  • Comment removed

  • i dont think so because 65,000 is a monsters hp limit there are ways to break the limit but thats only in hacks

  • 65000 HP? Lol what a lie, I had to deal damage worth of 245000 HP to kill that motherfucker

  • it has 65000 hp in the snes version.

i beat the game multiple times.

  • It MAY have 65000 HP per _stage_, sort of like Kaiser Dragon? Don't know exactly - check the Final Fantasy wiki for that. Could shed some better light on it.

  • More like 65,000 per molecule.

  • the fight with Atma Weapon was awsome......and teh music is epic!!!

  • this music is also featured in FF Dissidia and I like choosing this tune whenever I do a battle :)

  • ooo really? dangit i guess im gonna break down and get me a psp just to play this.

  • you could just bittorrent it and put it on a visual boy advance which imo is better because shift bar speeds it up like 4 times making grinding completely awesome

  • this kid is killer

better not mess with him when lvl not high enough

  • Atma Weapon x]

  • his hp is over 9000!

    sorry couldn't help it LOL!

  • You are now my hero.

  • I love him. Hes the coolest.

  • one of my favorite bosses =)

  • ... and (my) favourite music, too!

Good thing linkfreak used the original SNES track instead of the inferior GBA version, too (although the GBA cannot be blamed for not producing perfect bass and such).

    Favourited.

  • I knew something sounded different.

  • Mine too x]
