I have been collecting these my whole life, so thats part if your answer. As for buying in bulk, that is a rare thing that all of us Hotwheel collectors dream of. Personally I lucked out on that dream last spring when I came across a man selling a garage full of boxes and boxes of mostly Hotwheels dating primarily from the mid 70s and 80s. What a find! I bought 3000 cars that day alone and spent $1300, but it was so worth it. If only that happened more often, I'd be broke.
