Hi, i was just wondering if there was a tool that typed for you like you spoke and your mac typed for you? I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me thank u
I know it is just a screensaver, but it is still cool. On Linux Kernel Panic is irrecoverable.
I would love to see more of Speech Recognition on Mac (Knowing it have had Speech Recognition in ages makes me curious), Vista's work flawlessly to me, except some mistakes in Speech to Text...
I am a Mac User, i have 2 Macbooks with Leopard, and Speech Recognition on Safari is very bad. I don't like it. It's not a trash, but i have to say, i have a desktop too, with the "Windows Vista" (Wich i DONT like), but the speech recognition on VISTA is the most impressive i've ever used ! It's near perfection. I can just type with my voice. Spent some hours chating on MSN with a friend only using my voice and he don't even realized that i was using speech recog. PERFECT. :(
The fact that it has to defrag shows how poor of an OS it is. Face it, Microsoft has built an unstable OS and you actually have to do work to maintain it. Do I for using a Mac or Linux? No, it maintains itself without me doing anything.
why do ppl think window keep crashing? I never had window crash on me before. My machine has been running for 4 to 5 years now. No formatting, no crashing.
I don't think it, I have experienced it. My PC crashes about once a month, and I don't use it often. Other people like Chris Pirillo have also experienced tons of crashes in XP and Vista alike. It's not that we're "thinking" it crashes. It's that we know it crashes. Honestly, you act like Mac users have never used a Windows-based computer. Why do you think we switched to the Mac?
What a noob you are Amkdeath. Even Chris Pirillo, one of the biggest technology users on the net, has experienced crashing and BSODs with Windows in the past year. Does that then make him not knowledgeable about computers?
Chris Pirillo knows how to use computers. Guess what? Windows crashed for him on several occasions for no apparent reason. Stop backing a known unstable OS. Linux and Mac OS X don't crash nearly as much.
Dude, what a dumbass you are. Do some research on Chris Pirillo, I think he knows how to use Windows. Also, all operating systems crash. That's a known fact moron.
And, fyi, you don't need to defrag on a Mac. What an old concept that is.
works better with a noise canceling mike and you need to talk normally ... talking louder just cause the software to overdrive and that nulls out the lexicon checker.
Very funny. Loved it.

I think the kernel panic is a screensaver, it went away as he moved the mouse. With an actual KP you are forced to restart the Mac to resume

If Vista's speech recognition sounded better, I doubt you had Alex turned on inside of Leopard and were using one of the older sounds.

lol, how'd you do the fake kernel panic?

There's a screensaver which does it flawlessly :-p

the mac skin sucks get vista
christi1992 3 years ago
Vista's skin tries too hard to be eye candy. It also wastes system resources to do so. Leopard's skin doesn't, and it's also far more elegant.

my computer defrags for me, without me knowing it does it.
face it, if you know how to use a computer properly, you will be okay.

you are wrong. If you know how to use a computer right, and are not a fucking noob, then your computer will not crash on you.
I have a custom built system that has never crashed on me, and an ASUS laptop, which has never crashed.

yes, its true, there are some dumb-fucks out there who dont even know how to defragment a hard drive... Windows will be crashy for them.
