Yeah where does he bask and the filter isn't supposed to pic up all the poop u have to clean the tank evry month or so

@blackhawkfan1011 I do NOT recommend sand, it is extremely hard to clean and maintain. The best thing to do is get rocks that are bigger than the turtles' heads. I highly recommend river rocks, you can find them at the pet store.

@AssaultAndBattery777 we all start somewhere.. any animal can bite id have to ask my mom she was the one that had one of my turtles attached to her finger.. didnt draw blood and she was laughing ect but she said it didnt tickle thats for sure

hey can anyone tell me how big my turtle tank is? its 48 inches/ 4 feet long, 20 inches/ 1 foot and a half tall, and 12 inches/ 1 foot wide... how big is that???? and can you tell me what kinda turtle is better to hang out with out of the water, a RES or a YBS.. thanks.

for turles u should have a filter that can filter up to 3x the size of ur tank (ex. for a 20 gallon tank get a fitler that filters at least 60 gallon tanks)

Oh yah that is good cause the trick with the filter is that it is supose to be the double filteration of what your tank is...So it the new fulval filter? I have the fluval u2 to circulate the water more

Nice set-up is that a canister filter you have? My out flow for the water lookes like yours I have two zoo med 501 canister filters on my 30g long for my turtle

The turtles will eat the sand and die. And once there bigger will choke on the marble
