  • These black and white photos go along perfect with the music

  • This documentary isn't half as good as the Factory docu. Paul Morley talks some serious shit: talk about exaggeration and artiste adulation. As for the old hippie talking shit about Thatcher and punk being a reaction to teh shit at the time, he has clearly taken too many drugs to recall punk was pretty much over by 1979 when Thatcher came to power. A clothes line of idiots.

  • @AtlanteanDoubleEP Yeah ...Vini Reilly was never considered a hippie btw . He not an idiot either . Not my cup of tea musically however, just pointing out

  • That bald fuck is an ignorant twat

  • married, with a young child not married to a young child the english language is incredably complex and also he wasnt a substace abuser he did it when he was a kid but who didnt then he tryed to kill himself with them thats different

  • Ian Curtis married a young child?? Bull!! People need to get stuff straight.....

  • Never mind- misunderstood the interviewer. He was married with a young child, not married to a young child.

  • he was married and he had a young child....dink

  • Craig- don't state the obvious - I realized and corrected my mistake a full 2 weeks before you replied.

  • *Siouxsie

  • i prefer Sioxusie And The Banshees from around this time, this documentary is good though :)

  • Not to mention the constant bullshit that seems to pour out of Morely's mouth on a regular basis. Is he talking about Jesus or a singer from the late seventies?

  • I don't believe this hogwash was ever allowed to be made. Uninformed, cliched comments from noted buffoons like Alan McGee and the American. "Vibe". "I guess he was a dark guy". There's so much more to the Joy Division/Ian Curtis story than this, they deserve more.

  • I agree in a way... I got a lot more out of the Factory/Manchester documentary (and of course books and articles)!

  • Atrocity Exhibition - total genius. The planets aligned in the most perfect aspect to not only bring the members of Joy Division together - but also to bring the group together with Martin Hannett. Hannett really deserves to have a much higher profile than he seems to. RIP Martin and Ian.
