Animal Crossing on N64 for Japan is called Animal Forest? Wow I never knew that. Do they still call it Animal Forest for the new Animal Crossings in Japan now or no? Just wondering.

@Coolguy10890 Actually, it's called Doubutsu no Mori. Animal Forest is just the translation of the original japanese name.

@fananimalcrossing099 It is on Population Growing!! ;) Just fish all kind of fishes and catch all kind of insects, and then the next day you will have the butterfly (for insects) and the stisty (for fishes) on yout house! :D

@pikaluv8 You can dance at the Sports Fair because you have the GameCube version of the game. On the Nintendo 64, you can't dance.

@gothboy181 I used Rice Video 5.5.1. This is not the perfect plugin, but if you want it, you need to download it somewhere (can't remember where I downloaded it).

i set the times and my clock tower didn't do anythign, and i went to the shrine and nothing was going on...

Maybe the times are different. You have to look at the board in front of your house to know the exact date (but it's write in japanese).

Its a Full translator the only japanese words are the items, clothes, etc.

I know but It's not necessary, I prefer to keep the original version of Doubutsu no Mori. Otherwise, I have the GameCube version in my language so there's no problem.

Of course this is a real game! Animal Forest for Nintendo 64 was released in 2001 in Japan before Animal Crossing for GameCube.
