It is so much easier to just make a bunch of racket, conceal nothing and prostitute yourself. This latter approach is what passes for talent nowadays in all kinds of venue. Roberta does serve to remind us that it is possible for a person to carry himself or herself with dignity and class and still entertain. I just wonder what happened to us along the way.

I have loved Roberta since a very very young age and grew up in the 1960's-70's when she emerged as a very powerful singer. When I heard her voice on the radio it was as if she were singing only to me and no one else and from that a long artist - listener relationship developed. Her pairing up with Peabo is a good thing as they play well off each other and their voices simply ring out beautifully. While I like Donnie too, Peabo's vocals are stronger as is Roberta's and this pairing is great.
