Is it me, or does the first 1 min of the song sound a lot like a tune played on Mass Effect? When you want to travel with your SpaceShip, and you are using the map... I guess that they used Mr Oakenfold's song as an inspiration, not the other way around...

I am not positive but generaly this track could be in the progressive trance catigory....but it sounds like a cross between that and ambient jungle. Oakenfold has always mixed gere's unlike any other. ONE LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!

he mixed the version, like the does with many other songs. Other versions of the songs may sound similar, but he generally finds very nice timing and composition with his editing. His songs have a nice structure usually with a strong build up.

collab with global underground, these guys are from newcastle, north east england and did very well off the label. I prefer a more raw oakenfold set back in the day without the contant washes and pads, but hey, the tunes are still well produced, id like to see any fucker do this on fruity loops or cubase.
