Cameron Sinclair pulled off the double backflip earlier in the competition, the FIRST xfighter to do so. It's very hard to pull off, ur risking your life, & he should not have pushed his luck. In Madrid, his luck ran out, and he screwed up.

If anyone is to blame, HE is to blame. None of the other riders attempted this dangerous flip - NOT ONE! Americans, get an education!

@redeyemasta, Sinclair, if I remember right, did that flip the day before during qualifications, so he wouldn't have tried again if he thought the jumps were iffy. His take-off looks fine, he's path through the air looks fine, he just needed more height. Anyone remember Hurricane Katrina, breached levees, and the world having to send aid to the US because it couldn't take care of its own people?

@cancer309, that's not what happened in Texas, the first place he pulled off the backflip that year. The judges gave the other rider the points, as a win is based on the overall ride, not a bit of "insanity" at the end. And the judges were right! A crowd shouldn't egg on riders to risk death or serious injury just for entertainment. Most of the stunts they do are well-practiced to minimize risk - and it should stay that way! Nate Adams won in 2009.
