The act is specific and from what I have seen, your kids were kidnapped under false allegations and probably falsified documents. Check up on the Freedom of Information act and Protection of Privacy Act, file notice of disclosure under this act,also do research on the CPS aka CAS Policies and ethics. Once you've done all your research and got all your documentation,draw up a letter

This incident happened just a few days prior to her leaving. Yet, they still wanted to leave the kids with him. CPS was called - they did not show up. The boyfriend (with 2 felonies) was not arrested or ever charged with anything. We had photos of the results of the abuse. Here is how the system works in Crow Wing County MN. They identify a child who is the appropriate age for their "programs". They then take the child from the child's home for the purpose of placing them in a foster home.

The child may be placed in a foster home or may actually go to a group home or correctional facility. Either way they then apply for a medicaid card so they can provide "needed" services. It's a racket, the real profits are in billing the state for services provided.

The sad part is that CPS has instilled so much fear into me that I don't allow my daughter to bring friends over, I'm scared of being around children of fear of losing her, and limit contact inside my home with my son.

@saddeneddad. Believe it or not, this is NOT unusual, CPS has a very bad habit of breaking up familes. However, this is hardly EVER mentioned in the news. I know that to most this may be a "leap", but it IS the truth, none the less. Like I said, it is HARDLY ever mentioned though.

Ritalin and similar= speed and not good on a growing mind and does cause retardation and impairment! In my experience and I know social workers, they always try to keep the child with the parents as much as possible to the extreme that many children that get abused because the social worker fails to find enough evidence or acts too late. They will take ANY child that they can (the corrupt ones, that is.) The ones that they look for the most are young females that have brown hair and hazel eyes.

In our case, our daughter, who is deaf/ mute was sexually harrased @ school by a teacher's son when she was about to turn 16. She texted me and reported the incident to the school. They called CPS and reported that she was sexually molested at home. The forensic exam proved wrong, our attorney was their informant and the case went on until after she turned 18. Her case was dismissed, She was removed from foster home by the social worker, and even the police won't say where they are keeping Her.

I've dealt with CPS in a similar situation. I've researched the law. They CAN take a child, simply because of an allegation. They need no concrete proof. The law states that it is in "The best interest of the child." CPS has an unbelievable power and I urge you all to stand up and get the word out. This has to stop!!!

Yes they should be accountable for such mistakes and errors, but as you said, it then becomes about the covering up and not the child. I went through this cover up thing once, and I proved them wrong, now they simply have lost those files dealing with errors, and they quickly left me and my children alone after that. They are grown now so I'm not afraid to speak against them any more.
