Salam Jamila. I can't remember where I read this from, but I did read it from somewhere. Ayat al Kursi is Quran, so even if what I said is incorrect you still get hasana for every letter of the Quran. But Ayat al Kursi is the most powerful ayat in the quran and when you say it you do get protected. I don't know about the market dua, and haven't memorised it so I forget to say it. Maybe its bidaa, maybe it's not. Just judge for yourself what you think is write and wrong. Salam.
