  • Ugh.. I love this. Lucky lucky Alice

  • Thanks Alice ,I loved the movie the Doors and I used to try to imitate Jim and the way he partyed.I would also end up like him. However there would be no barial in France just some remote Veterans Cemetary with no fan fare. I guess it is better tyo be sober and unkown then to be rich with fans and drugs and bottles all around?

  • @frank02111 Only two people attended his funeral. Pam and Bill Sidons.

  • You could smell Jim coming from a block away. LMAO

  • It´s obvious that this man talks a lot of bullshit! But he presents it in a manner so to speak that he actually seems to believe it to be true himself...I smell the rat!

  • @MB280E I AGREE! This guy seems to have met everyone, and always has these stories. Also, in 1966, Alice would have been... 17 - 18?!?! This guy is a prime bullshitter.

  • Always interesting to see how Alice has always been with and seen so many artists. I smell bullshit.

  • @bobdy9988 Nah man, The Alice Cooper Band were regulars on the Sunset Strip scene with The Doors around 1968. Alice hung with Jim during the recording sessions for "Waiting For The Sun." Producer Bruce Botnik confirmed this.

  • @MattHatter Oh yeah? Fair enough.

  • Jim's leathers stank because he was trying to tell Alice Cooper that he stinks in a nice way.

  • Jim might've been deliberately unclean to keep swarming fans at bay.

  • @bobshark123 WTF then why are you watching him

  • Comment removed

  • this guy is a cunt,

  • jims leathers stank but his lyrics are magic !

  • i don't think jim was on a death trip,in one interview when asked how he wanted to die he replied on a nice soft bed 110 years old surronded by loved ones

  • yep - dat's funny.

  • whats with the stinky pants ----= i had bad hygiene when high --- no one says u smell like shit ? if u smell like crusty shit come on --- change the didie

  • whats with the stinky pants ----= i had bad hygiene when high --- no one says u smell like shit

  • poor bb Jim was a genius long live this beautiful poet

  • Jim Morrison is like Knowledge and Alice Cooper is more like Information.........nothing wrong with either just personal preference

  • The only thing on the other side of life is rotting

  • Too bad Jim never got into 12 step stuff. What would he be doing now had he survived? I think he was so self-destructive because of the cavernous disconnect he had with his father, who was unable or unwilling to appreciate his contributions, and was doubtless appalled by the debauchery. Besides, his dad was an admiral privy to the Gulf of Tonkin lies and the ET/UFO coverups. Maybe the anguish Jim was expressing was everything his dad was compartmentalizing.

  • @Jeannie1844 That is not the reason why he drank.

  • I thought Jim's pants were brown. Maybe he's thinking of Elvis' Comeback leather pants...

  • @stratman123 They were brown on the inside. No wonder he moved to France. I'm sure he blended-in well. P.U.

  • you know ive always asked myself on seeing jim morrison ... does the man ever change those trousers??o.o .. he wears them all the time well i hope he at least washes them ....^^... obviously alice has confirmed he didn't...... eiwwwwww... JIM!!

  • take a handfull of pills and wash it down with a bottle of jack

  • Jim Morrison rules! I like Alice Cooper too. Sounds like AC and his group learned a lot hanging with the Doors. I sure would have loved to have done that!! :-))

  • I guess they turned out to be drinkin buddies towards the end

  • @fuhmeregan Come off your high horse, you antisemitic little fuck. If Alice Cooper's a crook and non-artist, then Jim Morrison was a pretentious poet with delusions of grandeur. Both shows were spectacle. Alice was more about blood and horror, but Morrison was more, "I'm going to drop my pants on stage, fuck what people paid for, this is Art!" Alice planned; Morrison just acted. And looky here, Alice is alive now and Morrison's long since dead. Sounds like Cooper's better 'cause he's still alive

  • That doesn't mean either of those depictions of them are true, mind you. It just means you're a fucktard.

  • @mages11 you can't compare them as artists, but if we talk about influence, then jim is much better, anyway I dont like to compare musicians, I think that everybody has his own point of view... it bothers me when you say jim was more "I am going to drop my pants...." it just sounds like miami concert stuff and makes me think you dont know anything about him...

  • @mages11 and second Jim not only acted but planned too, if you read some of his interviews he always says he was highly calculated when it comes to his image and behavior on stage as he knew perfectly how to manipulate media, he was born to be famous he knew exactly what to do to reach the top

  • poetry in the comments! what jim had wrought...

  • Yeah I read about that too. Jim was a smelly motherfucker. Fucking nasty ass fuck

  • OMG...Jim had dukkie in his paints

  • I can listen to Alice reminisce abot rock and roll all day long.

  • "There was something he wanted to see on the other side of life. And that was the only thing he pressed forward to."

Sounds cool to me. It's a shame he couldn't have stuck around and expressed much more of that in his words and music... moved a lot slower along that glidepath. But I wonder if AC really knew Morrison that well?

Doors of perception.. Drugs cleanse them, then cloud them over. The 60s were an innocent age of drug useage, which (I was a decade too young) was prob half the 'fun'.

  • @marmas58ink

Well, They were both drinking buddies as well as Coop opened for the Door before Alice got big.

  • @marmas58ink

What Alice said is like the truth and very well said-Jim wanted to see and fell.I am mesmerized with this memories.

    Charming and self destructive

So beauty and clever yet alcoholic

The romantic in him, the bottle of Bushmill's

True to his own spirit and that's that

  • Anyone who does just a little research on Jim Morrison's alleged death will quickly find that the facts just don't add up. I have tried to contact Cooper by getting front row tix to a Merrillville IN show and giving video of the living Jim to the Vacation Band who opened for Alice. Please know that Jim Morrison is alive and well having faked his death in 1971. O

  • @JLizard Really?...I would like to hear more about what you say

  • @gorto27 thanks, have you checked out "Jim Morrison is alive" at the Museum of Hoaxes- years of info on there til they pulled out the plug.

  • @JLizard what is that video you talking? I know the story, I 've read a lot about that.

    more info please jLizard;)

  • @bababacardi I'm referring to the cheesy video that Rodeoswest, Inc. put out which has video footage, voice and pictures of Jim from about 1998 in it. I was the distributer of this video for 2 years and got a copy to the Vacation Band who opened for Alice Cooper in Merrillville, IN.

  • now i know who inspired Alice Cooper's stage antics.

  • i heard in an interview Jim said he never really heard of Alice's music or the Stooges."..just read a review in a magazine". idk maybe he couldnt remember the meeting with Cooper's band. xD

  • both amazing vocalists and showman!

    great stuff! real hard rock!

  • That's a great clip. Alice used to indulge a bit too but I trust him on his assessment of Jim who used to swagger about like a mythical gunfighter with a bottle of whiskey.

  • Alice was hanging out with the Doors at the studio around the time of the Waiting for the Sun album as I recall.

  • Really like this video. Alice is a cool dude, never knew he hung out with The Doors.

  • Omg.. He is so.. HOT!! :D

  • Indeed!!!!!

  • Typical, brilliant Alice. He talks about the icons he's known without the slightest trace of ego, always so down to earth, full of that fantastic sense of humour he's always had. I've loved him since the early 70s and will love him always.

  • Very cool. I haven't ever heard Alice talk about The DOors this much before.

  • thanks RosesOn for posting this nice piece of rockin history :)

  • thanks

  • this is cool, i had read that Alice had played with the Doors back in the day, but never have heard Alice talking about it. Thanks for uploading!!!!!
