Sometimes you have to adjust the PS3 Gamma settings idk why they don't set it dark enough to start out with, but PS3 DOES 1080P and Xbox 360 can only upscale to 1080P.

People say UC2 almost looks better than Crysis on PC. Sure the 360 processor is better and does more, but with PS3's SPU's, it can basically have more RAM and better capability
@xboxcp With the PS3's CELL broadband engine it has more RAM technically. The games can look better and run at a smoother framerate. My point, look at Gran Turismo 5 and Forza 4. They have not announced night to day transitions yet for Forza 4, why? Because with all the lighting and shading the console has to do the 360 does not have those extra SPU's to do that.

The only reason games looked so much better on the 360 was because, back then the ps3 tech was still somewhat new and hard to understand, and since the 360 had been out longer, and the tech was a little easier to work with, the games looked better. That's why ps3 always ended up with mediocre ports. Today that is a completely different story.

Bulletstorm looks 10x better than Call of Duty 3. Both run on the 360. The graphics have everything to do with the developer, their tools, and their team. And a whole heck of a lot less to do with the box it plays on.

i own both consoles and can say on balance the ps3 is better graphically, performance wise and all the extras you get with it, in particular blu-ray player, however what i will say is the fact xbox has a far superior online service compared to the ps3's

On multiplatform games the graphics are usually more vivid on the 360 such as call of duty and others.The reason why the ps3s graphics look pale in this vid is because alot of develpers dont want to take the time to use all of the ps3s cpus in its cell power core.Otherwise the xbox box has better framerate and alliasing,while the ps3 has more vivid textures in its exclusives.

FUCK THE PS3,All the exclusives for PS3 either have crap online, or no online, played god of war 3 once, after that it sat on my shelf for months, same with heavy rain, then i played Uncharted 2 online and it tacked fucking 20 minutes to find a match, i don’t have this problem with Halo Reach, screw the PS3, Xbox 360 for exclusives and online, screw the ps3, i want Gears of war 3 and Forza 4

i think that they might be using limited rgb and not full (on the ps3) making it seem crappier than the xbox ether that or NiCkOsGeVrE3007 point. On multiplatform games the graphics are usually more vivid on the 360 such as call of duty and others.The reason why the ps3s graphics look pale in this vid is because alot of develpers dont want to take the time to use all of the ps3s cpus in its cell power core.Otherwise the xbox box has better framerate and alliasing,while the ps3 has more vivid textures in its exclusives.

NiCksGeVrE3007 has a good point. in his comment he says that his domain is working with electronics. and he says in his comment that the consoles were used on different tv's and/or contrast and brightness changed/altered for the 360 to look awesome and the ps3 and wii to look like shit. so this isn't a valid video to base your purchase of any console. i own both consoles and they are played on the same tv, and i can tell you for a fact that ps3 is 100,000,000 times better than xbox 360.

here what i have to say about this video : in my opinion ps3 is better for many many reasons but in this video you are seeing tha graphic differences between xbox and ps3 in different tv's and that's for sure (i'm an expert in that domain of hardcore systems) and also you may have changed the option of tv or the game (brightness and resolution) and you may have did sth in the video tha makes ps3 graphics looks annoying and worse than xbox's.And ps3 has better technology in many things.!. .!. .!.

@NiCkOsGeVrE3007 I concur. you can change saturation on most ps3 games, making them look exactly the same as xbox... but uncharted 2 and killzone 2 (soon to be three) are a much better testament to the true capabilities of the ps3 system.

Unfortunaly it looks like video-capture systems other than video cameras haven't reached planed hardcore yet, nor the fact that the PS3 is more powerful in raw terms but slower in most gaming situations.
That being said, you can't compare PS3 and X360 by their graphical capabilities, making the entire discussion ridiculous.

Bloody people going on about 1080p being some major improvement over 720 when it quite clearly isn't, give it a rest. Each console has it's advantages, exclusives, personal preference with controllers etc, so stop bashing other peoples console choice. If people have to fight almost with their lives about which console is better (when the games on all systems are largely similar anyway), then it shows some serious issues with their personality. Play whatever you want, and leave each other alone.

wrong xbox does HD but blueray means that the textures on the disc dont need to be compressed like on xbox, meaning that texture will load faster, images will buffer better, but PC is best 2nd is ps3 :D

ps3 is better in my opinion, i think that they now have better exlusives than the xbox 360, they have halo series, gears of war, fable 2 , splinter cell conviction, crackdown and left for dead 2, but the ps3 has the ratchet and clank series, mgs4, gran turismo series, infamous, killzone 2, god of war 3, uncharted 1 and 2, and probably loads more

2nd game: Kinda iffy. PS3 has FPS drops. So I'm giving it to Xbox.
3rd game: more textures in PS3, but that doesn't mean the PS3 performs any better. - it still has FPS drops. X_X
4th game: 360 all the way.
5th game: 360 in most parts
6th game: I only saw Wii... So, Wii.
Statistically overall: Xbox 360.
If you disagree you obviously need graphics.
And oh yeah, the Xbox online community is miles better.

im a person who likes to have the new things when i can. i dont own a ps3 or xbox360. i dont like to buy electronics when they first come out so i can research them, and give the company time to work out bugs. however i hate when i buy something, then the new one comes out a few months later. should i try to get a ps3 or 360 for x-mas this december, or should i wait for the ps4 / xbox720?......also if your friends all have 360's.....but you like the ps3 games / features...which is a better buy??
