  • what the hell happens at 1:17?

  • great movie. even though see's a killer she's so adorable. it's hard to hate her.

  • This is one of my all time favorite movies!!

  • im watching the old one and its pretty good . new verson link pls

  • And this is why I will not have children!

  • this is before spanking was against the law,in the days of yor, rhoda would have got torn up for her misbehaving

  • @starfyre05 I can't determine whether you're advocating spanking or not. I'm an advocate of it, but I don't think any amount of spanking would have helped Rhoda. Exorcism or lightning are about the only options, if you ask me ;)

  • Call me crazy, but I really didn't like Nancy Kelly's performance.

    WAAAYYY too overly dramatic.

  • @Kari166 it's completely over the top. But it makes her performance that much more entertaining.

  • @Kari166 Work in a daycare for a week and I think you may change your mind. I see at least three displays of this sort of pre-murderous behavior a day. Haha.

  • I'm 13 And I was born in the wrong generation.

  • @TheRunawayOfToday me too i wish i was born like 13 years ago

  • i played the mom in the play

  • Who could tell me th story of this movie?

  • @DestroyerNr55 IMDB could. It's the Internet Movie DataBase. Any movie, and anything you could wish to know about it.

  • @DestroyerNr55 It's about a little girl Rhoda Penmark who happens to be a serial killer. People seem to die when she wants something they have-such as the little boy, Claude Degal, who won their school's penmanship medal, and a former neighbor where Rhoda's family previously lived who 'accidently' fell down a flight of stairs.

  • @faeryquene little psychopath! I grew up watching this movie....no wonder I don't like kids!

  • My all time favorite movie as well I watch it every time it's on.

  • I saw this when I was eight and it made me want to kill... Kill... KILL!

  • fucking creepy as hell

  • My favorite movies about evil Children and teenagers. The Bad Seed/ Rhoda; The Good son/ Henry; Orphan/ Ester; Mildred Pierce/ Veda; Devil in the Flesh/ Debbie; The Omen/ Damian. These evil Children rocked!

  • "Betta' give me dos' shoes, dere mine, give em back to MEH!"

  • thumbs up if Pretty Little Liars sent you here

  • @GypsyFullMoon this movie is awsome movie , one of my favorite movie also.

  • @GypsyFullMoon ...mine also. Try 'Primal Fear' if you have not already seen it. (Carpenters rule LOL) says goodjeans

  • it doesn't look like a horror movie

  • 'A basket full of kisses...'

  • Patty McCormack was so adorable in this movie.

  • 'The Bad Seed' is one of the most badly acted films of all time--but, like Valley of the Dolls, its SO unintentionally bad its good! (that's the definition of 'camp', by the way). Hilarious, really. Alone in the cast, only Henry Jones seems to understand that none of this drivel should be taken seriously--and he steals the movie from everyone!! He should have gotten an Oscar nomination!

  • Horror novel see video book trailer

  • This trailer makes it look like a family movie

  • i luv this movie and im 12 (my parents made me watch it) really good

  • Cindy Brady could kick her arse.

  • Why can't movies like this come back on TV? We should picket the stations until they do.

  • @onebaud Because acting has improved so much since the 1950's.

  • great movie seen it a few years ago been trying to get it on dvd and can not find it my 17 year old son laughs when she tells leroy to give back the shoes love the movie

  • @tracytcb111111111111 Saw the DVD on Amazon just a couple of days ago and they're selling it for $5.98. Hope you get it!

  • The ending was a little weak. She randomly gets struck by lightening. I had to hit reverse just to make sure I saw what I saw.

  • @Leatherbubba

i think that more movies should show that what goes around comes around...or to use today's terms "Ain't karma a bitch?!"

  • im only 13 aqnd i actually really like this movie, i first saw it a few months ago.

and once u think about it, its alot like the movie Orphan

  • YOU GIVE ME THOSE SHOES LEROY!

My older brother let me watch this movie when I was 8. He had me doing my "Rhoda" impression until I was in my 40's!

    (RIP Bobby!)

  • One of my favorite films. Who cares if it's black and white, from the fifties. Very gripping, and to realize the child is really that evil. Why it was remade is beyond me, also it being compared to The Good Son is kinda annoying.

  • This is actually a really good movie.

  • Hmmm. Some of the scenes here are a bit different in the version that i own.

  • Rhoda was a monster, she killed that little boy with them shoes!

  • Nancy Kelly...she was way too old for this part..she looks like William Hoppers mother as opposed to his wife..and the man who plays her father looks younger than she does...

  • @MPL029 Nancy was only 35 at the time and Hopper was 41 I guess you figured her look was too old Any actress under 30 at the time may have been too young to believably play Patty's mother. And you thought Paul Fix[from Rifleman fame] looked younger than Nancy? That's harsh .. Glad Miss Kelly isn't around to read this

  • @lpvcrcd not meaning to be harsh..just telling it like it is..she looks much older than 35..and much older than Hopper...chronlogically it doesnt matter..its all in their appearance..and perhaps she doesnt look younger than the actor who portrays her father..but more his contemporary than his daughter.

  • @MPL029 true she doesn't have a youthful look. "Tired "would be the adjective I suppose if one could recast in their head Eleanor Parker comes to mind She would have been 34 but more youthful befitting Hopper's wife[and an excellent actress]. But Kelly played it with gusto and you can't rewrite Hollywood history. Take care!
