this song is mesmerizing. brilliant songwriting by Neil Young, and these three ladies take this song to a new level. definitely the best version i've heard. sometimes somebody else takes ownership of a song when they cover, and that's the case here.
This video is absolutely stunning! The lyrics are complex but in turn creates some thought provoking. I'd like to know what instrument that guy is playing at about 2:43, it sounds majestic, somewhat angelic.
That instrument is called a glass harmonica. Linda fell in love with the sounds it produces, and used it a lot in her recordings. The instrument was actually an invention by Benjamin Franklin-
