actually the place they were hiking is a very popular resort filled with iraqi and western tourism. And Josh was there visiting shane and Sarah (journalist and english teacher) who lived in Iraq with no problems whatsoever. The border they accidentally crossed was unmarked and near the trail that they were hiking at (a popular waterfall). I spoke with Josh just before his trip, and I know that he had only innocent intentions.
