  • I just want Gavin to rape me.

  • Cool, I'm glad to hear good new music every now and then. I wish there was a lot more of it in the music industry now days.

  • people think this is a sell out? It's the same stuff they've always done....

  • @Beattodeathlikeadog i agree. sounds like bush, just a new year. wana hear the rest of the cd though

  • i haven't listened to Bush since the nineties. this sound is just as i remembered them.

  • Hell I like it myself,I like The sound of winter better but this is still rocking it's kinda one of those songs thats cool if driving down the interstate

  • Great song!! Great sound!! I think this guys are doing what they want and not what record label wants

  • I don't know why anyone else thinks it but isn't this is heavier than before.... how could it be selling out? More like buying out :L

  • People who talk about sell outs, usually aren't making any music of their own. Why don't you sit there on your ass and talk more shit about what others are ACTUALLY DOING while you do nothing. Really. It makes you seem so cool and relevant.

  • Well I don't care what some of you negative guys think. Gavin is so sexy hot. Look at his freakin hot body! Damn that boy looks hot. So so so hot hot hot. Baby. I want one of him for my birthday. And by the way he is a wonderful vocalist with a great strong voice. The music always rocks. Bush ALWAYS does it for me. Particularly Gavin there. Hot mmmm mmmm mmm

  • They can still rock it!!!!!!! selling out to me is like what 3 doors down, nickelback, etc all have done....they start out rocking aces, then they put out one ballad...so it makes a huge hit...then the record co. says hey "puss yourselves out now" and all they do the rest of their careers are ballads like little crying wuss's!!!! thats selling out to me! Bush still have the balls to perform actual ROCK music, not sissy, punch me in my privates songs!! ;)

  • @JennPo1994 Bush has done ballads but that's not what has defined them in the rock industry. Glycerine was a big ballad by them and was a huge hit, but a lot of their rock music that is not ballads were also big. (I enjoy that they're back though. It's been way too long since they're been around... my girlfriend thought they weren't ever going to get back together and make a new album)

  • thumbs up if your going to see them this summer

  • awesome Gavin has returned from the sesspool of adult contemporary!!!!

  • @Koonethboy it's cesspool, not sesspool.

  • ROCK NEVER DIE!!!!!!!!

  • Bush is back!!

  • Great New music. I loved all the old, and yet I continue to absolutley LOVE their new creative energy... Bush is just Awesome, Period...

  • never a huge Bush fan, but definitely lovin' this new stuff.

  • @rockstar76em; Grunge died yes,but Metal died? Where have you been lately? Metal is doing great right now! You've got tons of fresh metal bands tearing it up right now!

  • Badass band of all around awesome guys.

  • All my life I have waited for this moment.

  • bush just keeps gettin better and better if u ask me, haters gonna hate

    :P

  • New guitarist and bassist, so they're bound to have a fresh sound but that essence of Bush is still there. No pun intended ;D

  • This record (Sea of Memories) is the first thing that has gotten me excited about rock in years. This album not only has great songs, but it sounds fantastic. It's not over-compressed to shit, and sounds more like something that would've been released in the early 2000s, audio-wise. And an added benefit, for me at least, is that the drums aren't flippin' sampled! So sick of that sound already! Rock on, Bush!

  • To everyone saying they are trying to sell out with these songs, learn the definition of selling out.

They are doing what THEY want and not what YOU want. Doesn't sound like a sell out to me. Just good music.

  • @robhartjr1993 call it what you want, sounds like a shitty sell-out band to me. but that's really rather subjective. you could argue that sell-out band could have any definition, it really comes down to whether you like it or not in the end...

  • @666metalsucks666 You sure spent a lot of time listening to this shitty music, and commenting. You're a weak minded douche. Go get bent, loser.

  • @666metalsucks666 whether you like it or not does not mean they are sell-outs because you don't like it. To be honest, they definitely brought back their old sound and made it newer. Clearly you were not a bush fan in the 90's so you really don't know them that well or their music. I think it's great that they're bringing their sound back to radio waves. This is a rock band that is clearly sticking true to their music. =/ That's not selling out.

  • Sounds good, they have matured and the new stuff sounds fresh.

  • sounds dope to me guys

  • I think they sound amazing... I love the stuff they are doing now... brilliant. Well done Bush, I wish you were gigging near me. :-) xxx

  • I might agree a tiny bit that they are a little different then they were 15 years ago but they still sound better then most of the "shit" that has been coming out lately that's for sure

  • these guys used to kinda annoy me back in the day. that's not the case anymore. me like bush (tee-hee ;)

  • I miss the old Bush, too but come on... It's nice to hear their new stuff. I only wish Nigel and Dave took part in it but these other guys still rock. This is better than anything else on the radio waves. I've been hoping for this since way before they decided to do a reunion and they came through!! Thanks guys!

  • The only real problem I have with Bush's last few albums (and Institute) , is the fact that they're overly produced. Way too HiFi. It needs less overdubs and some good old tape compression in order to bring the raw sound back in. That's the difference between 16 Stone/RBSC era and the TSOT/GS/SOM era. I seriously believe they need to call up Clive Langer or Steve Albini for their next album. I think the current songwriting will work with the right production.

  • muito bom, very good, this song + mature, bush 90's shit, this is cool!

  • everybody who loves only 90's bush, then go listen to 90's bush and not this. hth.

  • Sucks compared to 90's Bush.

  • What the fuck is this.

    This isnt bush.

    this guitar player sucks.

  • For all of you who had no idea....Bush's new sound (which isn't that new actually) may sound different from their 90's stuff but sounds almost exactly like Institute - a band that released an album (somewhat undetected by the masses) I think about 5 years ago....it featured Gavin on vocals and the original Helmet drummer, and I think the other 2 members were accomplished in their own rights. The album I considered VERY mainstream, but I don't think it was advertised well. Out of text. DANGHH!!

  • Wahnsinn die haben ein neues Album? Ich habe diese Band vergöttert als ich zum Gymnasium ging. Ok, wirklich nicht das beste Stück, das ging früher besser, aber da kommt noch mehr hoffe ich. :-)

Greetings from Germany. I was a great fan in the 90s, during my school-time. I hope there will be more stuff :-)

  • not there best work but there rocking hard still and the blonde guy looks like eminem sorta

  • I can't wait to buy this album! Glad Bush is still around

  • @TheYellow1914

If it is shit, go to listen to justin bieber. And learn what is "shit!".

  • @onomono1999 this is shit if you compare with what they did in the 90's and please stop talking about Bieber!!! I'm fucking tired of people always comparing with this midget , each time you pronounce his name you give him publicity just ignore that fucking kid!!

  • @onomono1999

I wouldn't call anything Bush has ever put out as shit. But, compared to what they did in the 90s, this is shit for them. Granted even their shit music is better than most any of the top 20 you'll pull up on the radio in the last decade.

  • @onomono1999 sounds cool i like it

  • @onomono1999 You're to the point.

  • @onomono1999 I have to agree with you..i'm lucky my teenagers love Bush an they love the live Woodstock videos from back in the day...Old or New Music from Bush they still Rock thank God my kids dont like Justin Bieber... thats not music thats a kid w a mic. Give gavin a Guitar an thats music..

  • shit..!!!!!!

  • @bibika0801 the lead singer is the very sexy Gavin Rossdale, who is married to Gwen Stefani. Great band, go check out some of their stuff from the 90s!(:

  • I simply loved this voice dont know who sings never saw them before and now i know why...they dont existe here..in Brazil . im trying to listen more songs and it says they aren't avaible at my country =/ THAT SUCKS why cant i hear good music?

  • @Bibika0801 If you like I can send you their stuff. About 4 or 5 records.. let me know

  • Gavin I love your new songs and the 90's song as well!! I get all happy and mellow out when I hear your voice!! Lucky Gwen!!!

  • the guy is old! give him some credits, he is no longer the 20 something guy back in the 90's

  • Well its different than their old stuff, but thats what defines fans, sticking with them even when they make shitty desicions.

  • Albini, sorry

  • it's just about Bob Rock as producer, if they had Steve Albin it wasnt sounding like this

  • they've lost it...

  • I wouldn't kick Aragorn out of my bed for eating hob nobs . Phew. Gorgeous xx

  • Just saw them live last night. One of the few bands that sound best live. Great show

  • Good voice but no inspiration

  • Are they trying to make singles? This is Garbage compared to 90's Bush.

  • @TheGreenLlama7 ease up, they're getting back into the groove of things;p

  • @TheGreenLlama7 It isn't the 90's though. Most singles now are shit so this is better than most.

  • @TheGreenLlama7 I know what you mean. The newer Bush songs don't have that raw, grunge sound that they had in the 90s.

  • i can't understand why the hell you're talking about the LOOK... It's all about the MUSIC they're doing. Sure, that's not their best song, but I think that will be an amazing album. I'm really happy to hear new songs of them again :) Chris' voice is still awesome!!

  • @zaubermausi You mean Gavin's voice?

  • This song sucks. Bad! And is it wrong that whenever I look at the lead singer, I keep seeing him in dressed in a sequenced fishnet shirt and puffy hair?

  • @Natisa5 reallyy???

    your crazy

  • buena cancion!!! al finnn musica audible!!!

  • this is not how Bush sounded, very disappointing, the sound is too polished

  • @CroMarduk yeah, too clean.

  • When first i saw this , i thought Chris is Ben Stiller ^^

  • Great voice

  • Zzz

  • Bush is a great band miss the old stuff but new stuff is great too.....=D

  • the guy on the left is john claud van dam

  • SUREEEEEEEEE

  • I think this song is awesome. there is much worse music out there

  • YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • today in things that have no reason to exist...

  • theyre not as good as they usedto be. ever since they started to get involved in the techno shit a few albums ago...it was good when they were grunge. i dont mind this song though, and i like the new one 'sound of winter'.

  • It's not the good old bush sound I'm used to from years ago when I saw them in concert twice I loved them so much. I think time is a good bands worst enemy in most cases. This makes me sad. I will just stick with my old cds and memories.

  • I think they still sound fucking awsome...Look cool and sound even better as before..still a huge fan of Bush

  • Not even Bush sounds good nowadays, I respect a lot this band, but I think they are listening too much Justin Timberlake...I think the world lost one more great band.

  • It seems that Bush forgot its roots...it became too much POP to me...I am really sad and disappointed...I hope the rest of the album is better.

  • joder que mierda mas gorda, se ma ha caido un mito, coño con lo que me gustaban e incluso con mi grupo los versionabamos, que pena.

  • There's a random guy at the left. Draco Malfoy right next to it, grabbing Jesus Balls, being Jesus behind some Twillight Vampire ._.

    Crapception.

    tho, the music is good.

  • @Madeiras14 - the random guy at the left has actually been with the band since inception...

  • @evolism Umm, I know? I'm just pointing which famous characters they look like ._. the "guy from the left" doens't remind me of anyone <_<

  • bbbbbbbbboring generic crap for sheep

  • nigel is way cooler in person, gavin just made an image change for the band.

  • They sound f@#$ing awesome YES!!!!

  • Is anyone else annoyed of these Jesus jokes about long haired, bearded dudes? ;)

  • His voice is so different now..

  • successful bands get hate from people who wish it was them bankin on their music. appreciaters jam there music and strive to be successful like them. so turn it up and shut it up!

  • @kaidenspapa FUCK YEAH MAN!

  • Oh good job band from the nirvana era, you're releasing trash just like everyone else. CATCHY HUH!?! no... no it's not. FOO!

  • @hinarf Fuck off. it's better then shitty pop music or stupid core shit.

  • @TheWolfman510 That fact that you even mentioned other genre's was pathetic. This is just bad, someone obviously is starting to worry about having to pay their rent, cause it doesn't seem like their heart is in it. PLUS! The two genre's you used to compare it to where also REALLY SHITTY! So theres not much perspective difference for me.

  • @hinarf If you don't like it, then why did you search for it in the first place!?

  • @hinarf nobodys makin you listen to it, so quit bitchin about it

  • Its amazing he got married. Wow.

  • HelloFade, thats Robin on the left, still drumming. (He got a haircut) Looks like theres no Dave and Nigel, which I hate it when bands separate.

  • The fiend!!

  • Whew (wiping brow). Thank GOD! They didn't lose their touch.... I love me some BUSH. =)

  • these guys are so f in good. so glad they didnt go mainstream with their stuff like other bands have, this new albums awesome. love blastin this in the car and when im workin out

  • I'm sorry but Bush isn't Bush without Robin and Nigel

  • phil collins, draco malfoy, jesus, and aragorn... its like the celebrity league of justice

  • @PhreerideErik ahahahahah lol omg thats hillarious

  • @PhreerideErik no sir, thats BUSH and the people your listing are trying to be like them.

  • @PhreerideErik ahah very funny :D

  • @PhreerideErik :o Jesus is a celebrity?!

  • @SniperWolf354 chea man, u havent heard? youtube.com/watch?v=lGP6JTkqY6o

  • @SniperWolf354 since when fiction characters are celebriries?

  • Jesus Christ =O ♥ hahaha!

  • mesh shirt

  • Did Nigel just opt not to come back, or is the story deeper than that?

  • @garagerawk27 "I’ve been speaking to Nigel a lot and each time I do a record, I’d ask him to do it. He’s happy and it’s not something he wanted to do — he has a family. I spoke to Dave. I was surprised because I thought he’d do it. He thought about it for the weekend and then said he couldn’t. He didn’t want to commit and then back out — he didn’t know how long he could tour. It’s an absurd amount of work."

    That's according to Gavin.

  • @Haushinka234 That's kind of sad really, but you know, you have to expect that family would come first I suppose.

  • I don't blame Bush for such pop sound, they tried to return back to their original style in 2001 with 'golden state' but failed so... pop is always the solution. I wish you make a duet with Britney Spears, too... ;)

  • @NoGodsNoNations

Oh man, Golden State wasn't that bad. "People that we love" - still loving this song

  • @TonyGognitti Great, great song! Saying 'failed' I meant commercially...

  • gracias gracias gracias thank you thank you thank you I LOVE YOU. THANKS LOTS

    LOVE BUSH. THANKS GUYS

  • More like post - 'post-grunge'...I used to be a huge Bush fan especially of this stuff produced by Steve Albini (Razorblade Suitcase) but then came 'The Science of Things' which was clean er sounding but good and this newer stuff seems just too upbeat or something.

Im still gonna get the album because I love Bush but C'mon. I wonder if it was Nigel Pulsford who brought that.

  • I prefer the older stuff but this is pretty cool. I have moved past this "grunge" genre and into britpop so maybe that is why i dont like it as much. I always did hate people who say Bush sound like Nirvana. I guess they both have drums, guitar, and bass...Rossdale has better vocals and this guitarist is better. I think the only thing Nirvana has going for them is Grohl.

  • @DamonAlbarnFan Ehhh, Nirvana was pretty awesome in their own right. Might not be your cup of tea, but they really did have some brilliant compositions. But yes, Grohl is awesome

  • @aerocmetallica1995

Nirvana never did any brilliant compositions Grohl was the only one in Nirvana who was talented.

  • @JohnyEdge CORRECTION: They never did any really demanding compositions. But technicality does not equal brilliance. Whatever; it is your opinion, after all (and not mine)

  • @JohnyEdge yeah as bad as this may sound (and i do like nirvana) i feel it was a good thing (musically) that cobain died.....because we might never have heard of the foo fighters

  • @hoodwinkhiphop how so? it's true, never said it was a fairy tale ending but its true.

  • For a second there I thought Draco was grabbing Jesus's crotch.

  • @TheSecondComingRXSC dracos going for gold again

  • @Tap0uTguy lmfao!

  • MelodicGrunge?

  • guy in the middle right look like an evil villain

  • @xtntrampage

    Hahah he does :p

  • chucksr08: "JUST DONT COMPARE IT TO THIER OLDER STUFF ITS A NEW GENERATION! LIVE WITH IT"

if that new generation - is a generation of shit and earning of money, why should I live with this shit, kid?)....

real BUSH was against such shit. but yes, it was 15 years ago)...

  • Bush has always had more haters than supporters and guess what? F'em...they will always be a great and fun band to listen to. We're lucky Gavin decided to reunite and give us some more..

  • @Chronomicon brother to be honest with you I really thought Golden State was a great album...not much hype due to the bad times US went through with Sep.11th. Take your time to listen to it carefully and I'm sure you'll reconsider your last statement

  • Really people come on now get a grip yes BUSH has some new band members yes the music is going to change all music changes with time hell some bands can not make the same thing twice yet here is a band that comes back and u want to bitch get over it! really grow up people and just listen to the damn music for crying out loud and enjoy something besides all that other crap they try to pass off as music!! jeez

  • much better than afterlife

  • This song kinnda sucks.

  • @unbourne666 It's not as good as original Bush but the song doesn't suck. It's better than most music out now.

  • so beast. thank you bush for keeping legit music alive!

  • This is what I'm talking about.....Back to fundamentals.

  • Badass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • O hope the album is better then this

  • oh fuck yeah that intro

  • I love bush...but damn that shirt has got to go!

  • If Eddie Vedder was a douche bag...

  • i love when bands like Bush are coming with a new album and the 1st song is a great one.

  • i like all his songs even.... love remains the same but i do like to rock dont get me wrong i dont know are these new band members or the same idk much about them

  • i like all his songs even.... love remains the same but i do like to rock dont get me wrong

  • Lol the dude next to Gavin looks like the guy from Iron & Wine.

  • @RevenantEternal and the guy next to him looks like Eminem lol

  • gavin is bush are you confused?

  • Bush needs to come to SC so I can see them live. I love this!

  • Bush is one of my favorite bands but this isn't really Bush. Bush stopped making music in 2001.

  • @420Guitar420 not to argue but this is bush upcoming sea of memories

  • @dnkwoods Minus the original bassist and lead guitarist.

  • Rock music with pop vocal structure. This has been the way since the TSOT album. Too many effects on Gavin's vocals, and too much harmonizing with him self. Weak pop chorus' as well.

Just go back and listen to him sing "Must be something that we can eat. Maybe find another lover." and "Try to see it once my way... Everything Zen"

Then listen to this song again...

Gavin lost that raw voice and his great use of lyrics that didn't make much sense, but fit the theme of the song.

  • @WarmothGuitarist Pop Vocal structure: Lack of actual vocabulary, repeated lyrics well over 50 times, "Let me love you...", "let me fuck you..", lyrics are redundant and meaningless, auto-tuned, tries to rap.

This song has none of those things. I think Bush is moving up. It doesn't sound like Sixteen Stone, but I'll take 90's post-grunge nostalgia over today's modern music any day.

  • guy on far left kinda looks like batista!

  • gavin is a GOD!!!!

  • I'm still stuck on calling them Bush X
