The right hand was unaffected. 4 weeks is not enough time to have the right hand suffer any adverse reactions. The cast also allows her fingers plenty of wiggle room within the cast. Every week the cast is removed to check skin integrity, and allow her to stretch and move it about.
@tobythedogb You are a wonderful mother. You have given me hope. My daughter has CP of the right side. Her hand is weaker than your childs. I have searched and searched and your video has been the most helpful by far. I can't seem to find a therapist that seems to really care about her progress. I live in Dallas Texas.
