  • I love it!!!!!!!!! Stuff like this makes me excited about becoming an OT!!!! :-)

  • Great video, thanks! It's been awhile since we talked. I just wanted to know how your little girl is doing now - has she retained all of the skills she picked up with CIT?

    Take care,

    D's mom

  • Thanks so much for posting this. We're heading down to UAB in January of 2010 so it's nice to see the amazing results that are possible.

  • The right hand was unaffected. 4 weeks is not enough time to have the right hand suffer any adverse reactions. The cast also allows her fingers plenty of wiggle room within the cast. Every week the cast is removed to check skin integrity, and allow her to stretch and move it about.

  • @tobythedogb You are a wonderful mother. You have given me hope. My daughter has CP of the right side. Her hand is weaker than your childs. I have searched and searched and your video has been the most helpful by far. I can't seem to find a therapist that seems to really care about her progress. I live in Dallas Texas. Thank you for this video. I can't thank you enough. So inspiring. So much time surfing the internet and have finally found my answer. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!

  • so what if the right hand develops severe stiffness what are going to do after you take off the cast
