But have you listened to Amneris? She is AMAZING, my one of the special favorite mezzo voice, her Carmen, Dalilah, Eboli and many other mezzo roles were incredible, I suggest to listen her :)
This is taken at a rather slow tempo, but I like the dynamic variation he does here. Earlier in his career he sings with no dynamic variation, though the vocal placement seems to be better than it was here. Anyways this is an excellent performance and he still had plenty of voice for the rest of the opera - the final duet with Price was amazing.

This is his best live Celeste Aida I ever heard. He sings flexible, and elegant. The diminoendo on the last B is beutiful and very safe. Thanks for it!
