I finally realized what has bothered me all these years about Carl Sagan's characterization Earth as a "pale blue dot". I realize that we are coming toward the same thing from different perspectives. But from mine, Earth can be considered to be a brilliant, deep blue dot, our moon ever orbiting.. watching. There is much wonder here. And inconceivably much pain. We live and we die here. But the the sum of it is beyond our individual conceptions. Great video. It brought more than 1 tear to my eye.

Why did he have to overdubb on the original track? It's a bit strange. He could of of made his interpretation with his own arrangement of the song. Plus, Kenny G sucks! He's playing is childish and simplistic to a point where it's obvious that his musical vocabulary is limited. Simple is good but this is stupid simple. Kenny G is NOT a jazz musician and he wouldn't receive all the criticism if he hadn't gone and sold his records under the genre 'smooth jazz' and if he hadn't disgraced this work...until you can play more than just pentatonic stay out of the jazz realm...that's all Pat Metheny and Skerik and Mike Dillon and many others are saying...Kenny G is the target because he is famous and filthy rich while real jazz musicians (which appeal more to the tasteful minded than to the masses) struggle to get by.
