good camera overall but the HD video rec is limited to 10 min clips and the battery life is really bad as most reviews claim. Stupid things keep this camera from being great! Lets hope sony gets smarter in the later models!

Hey man. I need to ask you a few questions. I just got this camera and am having a bit of trouble finding out the optimum picture quality settings. For the best quality photos, what mode do you have it at? The HDTV setting? I recorded a video in my videos at the Fine setting, i believe the first video setting as i thought that was the highest quality, how come it didn't turn out in Hq?

for the best quality photos choose 10M and the most suitable REC mode
