Outlining

I am such an outliner. I need to make an outline just to write an essay. I need to make some sort of point form outline to keep me on track and keep my thoughts in place!

I love outlining way too much, I spend hours in school (when I should be paying attention) to outline. There is just something I like about planning things out.

*sigh* Last year I didn't finish Nanowrimo because of this. Actually...I've never really *finished* writing anything...except one sucky, rushed short story I did for 9th grade English class. But that's another story for another time (pun not intended).

I've completed Nano several times, but have yet to complete a novel. I think the only way that I will ever complete a novel is to actually outline--in detail. The only time i can fly by the seat of my pants is with poetry, but that's a completely different form, and much shorter at any rate.
