This is like those foreign wrestler promos in the States were they say a few unintelligible words in their native tongue followed by a word or phrase everyone understands.
People say Hogan can't wrestle...WATCH THIS MATCH< It will Completely Change your perspective on Hogan...and You get to see him Fight Hanson, what more do you want!!!
It's funny too that Hogan consistently used the straight armed clothesline in his arsenal throughout his matches in North America, yet little to no AXE BUMBAH!! The Japanese crowds loved that move almost as much as the LARIATOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Stan was a stiff in-ring wrestler, but he was not a "tough guy" like say, Haku, who is known for being a bad dude..Hogan's size and likely accompanying strength, at the time, may have overwhelmed Hansen..
It would have saved his back as well. Hogan now says that years of doing the leg drop has resulted in his lower spine curving to one side. I guess 20 plus years of landing on your ass will do that.
im guessing that is japanese for axe bomber cuz that was hogans alternate finisher in japan. its a crocked arm lariat which would stand no chance against stan hansen's western lariat. sure "Axe Bomba" is good, but what is better than "LARRRRRRRRRIAAAAAAAAAATUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" i rest my case...
They also wrestled each other in Japan in the early 80's when they were in the WWF as bad guys. The magazines ran an article about how Blasies men were at odds etc. There was another article where Hogan questioned how Blassie was able to get Hansen title shots at the Garden against Backlund and he could not get Hogan any.
They were both cheered because both are loved legends in Japan. The Japanese seldom make for a raunchy crowd atmosphere as they are generally more polite than American crowds. They prefer letting the wrestlers make the show. For anybody that says Hogan can't work, they don't know crap about wrestling. He worked his ass off in Japan.
Yes he wrestled him in 1990 in Tokyo right after losing to the Ultimate Warrior in WM6. It was a GREAT match-the fans cheered for Stan as he was their local 'hero' and Hogan was the opponent. Back then it was virtually unheard of for a top WWF star to NOT be cheered for.

He's used it a couple of times in the WWF: I remember him beating Sid Justice with it at one point.
I wish he used it more, though: that move rules!

The Axe Bomber is a clothsline/lariat that Hogan used as a finisher in Japan. He legit KO'd someone with it once.
