But, the Viper motor is a simple, low-revving motor that's meant to put out power and torque, and last a million years. It's just a giant aluminum version of what you used to get in a truck. They didn't take an 8L motor and see how much could be squeezed out of it, they set a power goal and reached it the easiest way they could.

Nissan came in second and I can vouch for the Nissan I have a 2004 350z with 92 thousand miles on it (I bought it brand new) they would no do any warranty work. Then when I hit 60 thousand miles it started breaking down every 3-6 months. My next car is going to Vette and I will never buy another Japanese car again. Japan builds crap that doesn't last.

Airsoft Guns for example, japan has the leading company in airsoft when it comes to quality and acuracy. Their TVs are great. Video Game consoles such as the NES and every PlayStation in existance. Japan does have a few good cars two but they are not new up to date production models. Nissan's R34 is one of those and the '97 Toyota Supra

My friends Honda is even worse his is completely falling apart (and it's a 2007-2008 civic SI (no he has not done any mods to it). If their cars have such great quality why aren't there any "classics" roaming around? I think the oldest you will find is from the early 90's mid to late 80's with few exceptions.

I've had to recalls and that was for the front lights being to high up and the rear lenses changed because they were too bright. Other than that it's a great crossover! I will buy another one. it annoys me when people compare purpose built cars with production vehicles, and dont take into account the balance needed for a street driven vehicle, acceleration is only one part of the equation, brakes, handling, aerodynamics, and passenger safety (the best car/driver in the world cant stop other idiots from hitting YOU ). in todays world 2000+hp for a purpose built car is not uncommon, tho i definately give svs props for the build!

funny thing is that as much money as was spent on this, it will never see the street except for showoffs around the block. it will never meet us emissions requirements, and cant be insured. its built for pure acceleration. second, all the power in the world is useless if you cant put it to the ground, which in this case would mean either a rear locker, or modified limited slip, which once again, means driving on the street is almost impossible.

It's a race care with a nice finish. Have you ever looked at the specs on it? Doubtful. I'd be willing to bet this Viper would beat a Veyron in acceleration and top speed, at probably a 1/4 of the cost. Veyron is badass, but has a lot of money backing it, this Viper is built by a much smaller business. This Viper owns Veyron.
