When Jesper leaves In Flames and Anders starts telling us to listen to bands like Insese, I know that Jesper was the melodic driving force behind In Flames and He who shall not Bleed is the kind of album that I would have liked In Flames to do. It makes me think that Anders and Bjorn have turned In Flames into this self motived band and really aren't in touch with their gothenburg melodic death metal souls anymore. I forsee that Dimension Zero owns In Flames in 2010-beyond.

Yeah for sure two good examples but there's still alot of bands that have started to get big names for themselves and havent started to suck (yet, fingers crossed) - Meshuggah, Psycroptic, Bloodbath, High on Fire, Gojira, Opeth, Testament, Grave etc.

Jesper doesn't do much in this band. He plays bass and gives some input for riffs. In Flames is his commitment, and for good reason. DZ gets repetitive - I'm not saying IF doesn't either - and the blast beats never are mixed with more than a few rolls and spurts of doubles. I love both bands, but people are really naive to think DZ is where Jesper belongs. Just because you didn't like the last two different paced albums by IF, doesn't mean you have the ability to judge them emo.
