YES FUCK VERIZON! I work for a Verizon subcontracted customer service center and let me tell you these assholes care about only on thing, and that's money. They fired around 2,500 of their actual Verizon reps that were being paid a good wage and shut down several different departments and combined them all into one. Needless to say my center got railroaded into this new department where we do the work of 4-5 older departments. And to add insult to injury, they pay us way less then those VZ reps.
@dcguy18 They also lied and told us that making sales wouldn't be mandatory. Suddenly, now they want us to sell 30,000 dollars per month of services. And if you don't offer on every call, you can be walked out the door. Making any sales or bonus money is next to impossible when the vast majority of the calls are people with fucked up bills and huge charges. The training was absolutely worthless, and their systems are very archaic and not user friendly at all. No wonder people get so pissed!
