i love when its not cold but still my fave plane in swiss air(they give free stuff)
airbus 320)
unforchinatly i had to fly from moscow to amsterdam with women pilot on old boing)
but last time with boing 737-400 i had a great flight to nice from brussels and back on airbus 321) boing was better) btw i wasnt cold and its 20 min faster
@lisavetskiykolodkin You really need to learn how to spell and write! Boeing NOT "boing" are the best plane manufacturers in the world and always will be.
This runway has been extended since A TACA plane crash here that killed the pilot and a passenger. (A US military plane as well about 15 years ago or so too!) That hill from where this video was shot needs to be removed. The Hondurans should have done it years ago. This is why you pay airport taxes. There is no reason thios runway could be extended from some 7,000 to 10,000 feet but the Hondurans fail to move earth and buy out homeowners and move roads.
This is a great crosswind landing, with an even more difficult approach! Bravo to the pilot, but I feel sorry for the people with the shacks getting blasted by jet exhaust haha!
Can someone with some knowledge in aviation explain this to me? Where is this? I'm shocked they would even let airliners land at this runway. Especially a large AA airliner.
this is by farthe scariest airport in the world to land at.i understand that some flight attendants give up this route to other flight crew to avoid landing at this airport.american airlines in fact was supposed to pull out of here for the same reason.try approaching this baby at night.
May 30, 2008 a plane overshot this runway and ended up in the street. 4 died and at least 65 were injured. Is anyone surprised? I'm not sure if that crash is even the most recent one at that airport.
Wow! that has got to look frightening from the cockpit. They must have to hope the main gear doesn't rip out the odd bush (or person) and carry it along.
Ya canny just come in off the street and do that shit ya know, It taks lottsa practice.

@docrw absolutely right, BOEING, not boing... they built & still building the most advanced airliner.

I meant to say it can be extended still another 2,000 feet as it has been extended by 1,000 after the TACA crash!

I could sit there for hours and watch takeoffs and landings. Looks like they built the runway at the bottom of a valley.

Looks like Tegulcigalpa, Honduras. No autopilot landings there.

Thats actually an amazing landing by a very skilled and professional pilot.
To the poster, the tags are all kinds of screwed up. Boeing and Airbus for the same aircraft?!? No.
This is a Boeing 757. Never to be confused with an airbus
SoManyNoTime 3 years ago 6
tags are to help people find things of interest, Boeing, and Airbus are the same genre hence the tags.

Hey docrw,
Your video's are the best, I've seen them all and they'll great. Keep them coming!!!
F1damomma 3 years ago 2
I was wondering why they never smoothed out the hill side. It wouldn't be that hard and make a little safer approach.
