Roaring Bhagirathi Waterfall at Gangotri Temple

Did you know that at Bhagirathi falls, there is a sivling inside the cliff onto which Bhagirathi (its not Ganga yet) constantly washes. It has remained there for centuries and no one has been able to get near the sivling because of the intense cold waterfalls. Not even great Swami Sundarananda, who has experienced the Himalayas better than anyone, tried twice and couldn't get there.
