In the book, he is always smiling, and seemingly confident in his black mailing of Dussander, in the movie, it just looks like he is pissed off, and scared.

I saw this movie a few days ago. I knew the story but I haven't read the book yet. After seeing the traiiler I decided to look up the movie and I liked it a lot. This scene was my favorite. Very powerfull and scary
The weirdest thing about this book/movie is that you surprisingly find yourself thinking who of them is worse. Then you realize...that you just don´t know.
Really...King is brilliant and with no doubt my fave writer..ever.
This is one of the greatest scenes of the movie, and one of the most memorable I know!! It shows the power of pure zealotry and how terrifying and evil the Nazis could be...I love the sound of those boots marking time. Reminds me of my days in uniform but I am not saying this in support of the Nazis only as a measure of respect to the movie.
This scene scared me when I first saw it, not only because the way Dussander seems possessed, but also how Tod seems.... turned on... ordering and watching him. I mean look at his expression! Great acting ^^
