yup no worries, so when you start your psp you get a little pic/ video and sounds, these are cintro and boot sound, the gameboot is the little video clip when you select a game/ homebrew to play. with a hacked psp you can make your own and add an app to play upto 20 random gameboots

well as for ps3 you can download the themes on the ps3 or on pc and transfer with usb stick, there are lots of good sites, i followed a youtube tut and got the afrika dynamic theme free from the jpn store..

--as for psp themes, you need cfw to have ctf themes or you need to use ptf on ofw. if you have cfw then you need to install cxmb for your cfw.

Well I noticed you have a cxmb making your interface different now the ctf files that give you those interfaces always come with a gameboot itself. Now I have a custom gameboot but the ctf file over runs mine using it's own gameboot. Now I was wondering if it was possible to disable the gameboot on the ctf to run my gameboot I put on. Please tell me if you can give me some steps if it's posible it would be helpful.

well you could use myrandomgameboot.prx v3 and have multiple gameboots on ms playing at random, thats what i have set up on my cfw psp 5.00m33-6

i have never made a ctf but i hear they are hard. there are lots of tools to help and tutorials around. gameboots once you learn the way it becomes easy, but there are around 6 steps + to make a gameboot. thanks

but my psp run on cfw and erm i tried putting it in the psp/theme file but it never came out in the theme switching menu

cxmb is the plugin that aloows you to utilize ctf themes. you need it for them to work, and you need the cxmb for your cfw. i have cxmb 3.3 for 5.00m33-4 cfw, and it works for all 5.00m33 cfws.

for ctf themes you need cxmb for your cfw the you just add the ctf themes to your psp theme file. as for the loading sign they are usually included with the ctf themes. ctf files usually have cintro,theme,gameboot, etc. built in by the author

yup replace the ones that are in there, an new opening plugin could be used to make sure that the length is right. or just add my random gameboot plugin and then the gameboot pmf can go in the theme file.

yeah i can make you one, let me know what clip/ movie/ vid etc. and i will send it to ya.

there are several steps the way i do it, i found a tutorial that i liked and downloaded the tools. i organized the tools into folders with step 1 to 7 on them. the first time i did it took maybe 30 minutes, now i can do it in 5 or so if i know the clip to use. if you wanna know more or know which tutorial i follewed let me know.

that was a gameboot that i made, i also creadted a new opening_plugin.rco file which makes it longer or shorter. at that time i just went on my psp flash0 files and switched the custom ones in. for the ctf, the custom gameboot works only on that ctf, because that is the one i had on when i flashed the custom files into the psp flash0. if you still need/want more info let me know. thanks
