Priceless...this is the track that got me hooked on the real vibes...laugh dance cry...totally brilliant and unique...thank you bro for introducing me to this!
for any of those who are oldskool this tune was first played at radio 1s essentsial inthe mix at the arches glasgow 1996 it was white label then and it still kicks now dont know about r1 tho peace
96?! Obviously you weren't there when it was first played. Try '91. Sasha and Ian Ossia hammered it along with tons of others. Truly massive tune. The proper scene had died by '96.
@NSoulBoy One of the top ten all of time... 93 was about the time when the original rave posse began to leave the scene imo, also by that time you were never sure what the pills contained and they started giving them stupid names like shamrocks, flatliners etc when all you wanted was a dove, cali sunrise or biscuit/burger and we aint talkin macvities or macdonalds haha
I'm trying to find a record: no idea of its name or who its by, but I remember some of the lyrics: 'won't you tell me baby, what's on you're mind, just let me know if I'm wasting my time, its been a while since you told me you love me, do you still care? Are you thinking of me?' Any ideas who its by and the name of the song?
AMAZING tune....they played it at a party in dukinfield when some poor geezer swallowed 6 pills in the queue cos he was about to be frisked by the police. QUAD SHELLEYS PARKHALL THE HOUSE HIPPOS ANGELS SHABOO MONROES LEGENDS WAREHOUSE (LEEDS) SEQUINS respect!
ya so right, leeds was so good back then, makes me wanna weep now, leeds is trendy now with no core or soul, glad i was there for that rare moment in time back then,
what happy days can be remembered by such a sexy tune? well one things for true this will never ever be forgotten by the soak kaos era which was the place of dreams and trully wonderfull experiences tuesday nite warehouse leeds if they ever invent time travel then thats were im going to just to soak up the energy and feel the freedom of yesteryear sheer classic big thanks jay bradford
awesome !!!!!! draws you in and builds it up till you just wanna have it. Great times, i also like espiral - dunne. What about sasha and marie - be as one ?
Wow. Goosebumps on the singing. I can't believe how good this song is. Whenever it was played at Quadrant Park it was always on a touch faster than this just to step up the pace a little. theorb1 agreed. Awesome funeral song.
My hubby has got this on 12' and its the original and best version. So atmospheric. Tunes don't have the feeling anymore that this and others tunes from the era of the birth of house and acid. I'm afraid words aren't enough to do it justice.
wow have this on italian import no longer have a record player tho havnt heard this for years. so many remixes came out after this one but none of em were a patch on this one!
