  • this track was released 1st jan 1991, for those in the know we were playing this late summer 1990 white label before it was pressed for release

  • love this tune...wot a classic.

  • for any of those who are oldskool this tune was first played at radio 1s essentsial inthe mix at the arches glasgow 1996 it was white label then and it still kicks now dont know about r1 tho peace

  • 96?! Obviously you weren't there when it was first played. Try '91. Sasha and Ian Ossia hammered it along with tons of others. Truly massive tune. The proper scene had died by '96.

  • I agree, went to basics opening night above rockshots in 1991 and many more, this track woz bangin out around then if not before .

  • Absolutely. This was played at a retro night i went to in 94 and we were already crying about how things weren't the same!

  • couldn`t agree with you more my son well said

  • @NSoulBoy too true pal,

  • @NSoulBoy One of the top ten all of time... 93 was about the time when the original rave posse began to leave the scene imo, also by that time you were never sure what the pills contained and they started giving them stupid names like shamrocks, flatliners etc when all you wanted was a dove, cali sunrise or biscuit/burger and we aint talkin macvities or macdonalds haha

  • what a tune, many a night travelling home after a cracking night listening to a tune like this to finish the night offfffffffff

  • Good work FBDKB384 !

  • I'm trying to find a record: no idea of its name or who its by, but I remember some of the lyrics: 'won't you tell me baby, what's on you're mind, just let me know if I'm wasting my time, its been a while since you told me you love me, do you still care? Are you thinking of me?' Any ideas who its by and the name of the song?

  • Totally agree wi ya. Mine too. Check SLD out -Getting out u'll remember it.

  • Haven't heard this for years! Thanks for posting. And soak was fantastic.

  • What an anthem - reminds me of the old SOAK/KAOS nights in Leeds 90/91 - as you say Tatsbabe, tunes aren't like this any more.

  • from Aberdeen reminds me of Soak at the Leeds Warehouse - great times ....

  • I wes at uni in leeds in 93 and the tunes and the pills were just unbelievable. It'll never be like that again mate!

  • T O P T U N E ! ! !

  • My hubby has got this on 12' and its the original and best version. So atmospheric. Tunes don't have the feeling anymore that this and others tunes from the era of the birth of house and acid. I'm afraid words aren't enough to do it justice.

  • wow have this on italian import no longer have a record player tho havnt heard this for years. so many remixes came out after this one but none of em were a patch on this one!
