everyone is saying smile, some of these hulas, you are not supposed to smile. i am learning one now that i do smile, and another that i dont. stop acting like you know everything. I am not trying to if it comes across that way but i do not believe you smile in this one. And the kids are supposed to do the chant, but they did the dance to the original movie track so it was already inputted.

I've seen a lot of hula dancers there on the island of Oahu and here on the main land besides my friend kid, this little girl was very good I bet she practice everyday and I bet her mother is a hula dancer that wouldn't let her go off rhythm. The others need to have parent to be around them more so they have the support to do better like this little one in the middle has.

Yes, the little one knows exactly what she is doing. If you watch closely, she is even singing Hawai'ian with the song. But hey, people, let's give credit where credit is due. The blonde girl on the left may have some work to do yet, but she has the basics down---AND she is up there and we're in the audience. I'm sure it is hard for someone especially a youthful one, who is not quite there yet, to go in front of many people and perform. So give credit there. Future? She could be great.

Yeah, no. You obviously haven't watched young girls do hula. Even my younger cousin who has been doing hula since a very young age, at the girl in the middles age was much more graceful. Well first off, the girl in the middle, yes she was good, but was always a step behind or infront of the other girls, that's not good when doing hula.
