Always loved this song. Plenty to enjoy from Tommy's excellent bass & lead vocals, Mike's powerful drumming, Adam's technical skills and Bob's spright piano. The rhythm has a great "bop" to it and coupled with a sweet melody, this tune has always been a favorite swingin' rocker for me. Peace.
I think Tommy does a splendid job on this song.He is very underrated as a lead singer.I just remember him starting it all for Badfinger with his vocals on Come and Get it..Fabulous
Definitely Mike Gibbons on drums. I think it's Bob Jackson on keys? This might have been after Molland left and was parading around with another version of BF. Sad. Tom looks tired. But his voice still had life even though it was just a year of his death.
He's tired because the band were living in Milwaukee and being treated like shit by their "manager: John Cass who stuck them in a crappy model home with no furniture, no food, and no transportation. Not to mention they were playing shitty spots like this one which would tire any self-respecting person out.
Tony Kaye played keyboards on the album version?
